I remember reading last year around about October, that an English club was looking into having Morton as a sort of feeder club. The guy Carr was mentioned as being at Morton games along with others to do with Newcastle.

I to am not particularly happy about things that have happened at the club over the past couple of years. Relegation, promises from the board about monthly updates,which have stopped, the treatment of Doolan and the jury is still out on whether Caldwell can do what he was brought into do and that is win promotion. But I will be buying my season ticket as I have done for many years and also as I have done for many years hope that this season will be our season.

His contract is up this month. The rumour on here is he will be leaving.

Wasn't at the meeting so can't comment on that. But to update the old saying of 'football is not won on paper' 'football is not won on a power point'. But I do hope that Caldwell doesn't just talk a good game and we do have a good season, which means we need to be at the very least in the play offs by the end of 2019/20.

Lets be thankfull we didn't pay a million pounds for him.

And upwards, hopefully.

While watching this, I was thinking what a great night to be watching your team playing football. But glad I am not.

Looks like QOS will be in the championship next season. 2-0 up on Raith Rovers. Next goal vital.

Good to see us doing business this early. Lets hope we can get the vast majority of our squad in before the season starts, and hopefully start the season well.

I have only met both once. Chris when he visited Robert in hospital. Chris and Callum Booth spent about an hour speaking to Robert, Eunice and myself. Both were a credit to themselves and Thistle and I will never forget the look and smile on Robert's face when both players walked into his bed space as he new nothing about the visit. I met Kris for the only time when I presented the 100 goal trophy to him. He spoke at the POTY event a few weeks ago. He said that he knew this season had not been good enough, they would get the result required at QOS and look forward to doing better next season. No sign of he wouldn't be with Thistle at the end of the season.

That Kris tracked down TJR, to personally thank him tells you exactly what type of person he is.

If it is true he thought Erskine and Doolan were problem children, really. 2 Players with their experience in the top 2 leagues in Scotland, their professionalism and the things they did for Thistle of the park. He has never managed in Scotland, he should have been using them to help him ease into the job, not see them as a problem.
