Agree, i felt this made it a more enjoyable game. I thought that every player earned pass marks, with McBeth, williams and Milne deserving extra mention. We looked far more confident than i thought we would've after our last couple of results. Keep playing like that and we should hold onto our top 4 place then who knows what could happen.

The perfect set of midweek results imo would be. First and foremost We beat Ayr Raith beat Morton Dundee Utd beat Airdrie Those results would just about guarantee us to finish in the top 4. Our next 3 home games are big ones, Dundee Utd, Raith Rovers and Morton, let's hope we get big crowds for them, although with the Raith Rovers game being a Tuesday night and also on BBC Scotland that will affect the crowd.

We will see how the scores go today. It wasn't all that long ago we looked a stick on for 3rd, if we don't sort out our defending we could struggle for top 4. Morton are the form team, we were the last to beat them when we won 2-1 at Firhill. Unlike us they seem to have had the refs decision's go for them,seems Dundee Utd should have got a penalty when Morton beat them 3-2 and we should have also got a last minute penalty against them at Cappielow that ended 1-1. They say these things even them themselves out over a season, we will see. Agree with @lady-isobel-barnett our game management is very poor, if it was better we would be a premier league team this season and also in the next round of the Scottish cup are 2 examples that come to mind.

At the front of the Lambie stand so impossible to say if corner was correct call. What i did see was us clearing the ball and nobody challenge the Dunfermline player who was allowed to stroll forward and have a shot unchallenged. We should have put a tackle in.

At the game i couldn't tell if goals were chopped of correctly, in fact from the front of the Lambie stand i couldn't see what happened with our 'second goal', but after seeing a replay of the second it was a terrible call. Our defending was terrible as it has been to many times this season so far and it has been what has stopped us putting in a real challenge to finish second or higher, but they do say goals change games and if the first 'goal' was not disallowed and Graham then goes on to put us 2-0 up, for me we go on and win the game comfortably. But we really need to sort out our defending or we could struggle to make top 4. When you consider the way Dunfermline defended in the first half in particular you see the difference, if they hadn't blocked a number of shots we had in the box we could have been out of site by half time. As has already been said i know this was his first game for us but Stewart didn't fill me with confidence he could be the answer to what is undoubtedly a problem position for Thistle.

I am not sure many if any Scottish championship clubs could afford to refuse £500,000 and then a further £500,000 investment 6 months later. I do realise this means the fan ownership % being reduced. If we are an ambitious club and looking to get back in the premiership i don't think Morton are the template for that, they haven't played in the top flight for nearly 40 years.

As soon soon as they both entered the women's game it was inevitable that this nonsense would come into it as well.

We have seen what happens when the manager publicly slates players, Ross County for example. Being captain and a senior player i would think gives you more leeway to say what you feel.

You and some others may find it hard to believe, but there is a few older ones than me.

I was not comparing teams, but that the advantage that the premier league team has does not always work out.

We could not take advantage of playing less games when we lost out to Livingston who finished 3rd.

I was thinking that as well. He was playing every week for Raith Rovers, didn't think he would sign for us just to sit on the bench every week.

I know if anybody can find anything about Thistle no matter how obscure it is @The Thistle Archive will find it, but how did you find this ? Out of interest anybody know any of the other fans ?

I did not expect to see DC at 4th. Didn't feel that good at the time.
