  1. He might have been a gobshite but there is not a lot of our players go and experience playing on the continent so it's worth listening to what he is saying. Guys like Mo Johnston, John Collins ,Paul Lambert all came back as better players for their stints abroad.
  2. Cant see DU winning a playoff, they are sh1t
  3. Thank feck weare well out and away rfom any worries this season. The play off spot changes from game to game , don't think anyone is really going to be safe before the last game. Suprised to see Motherwell lose to Dundee today, Watching the DU v Sons game on Alba though everyone will want United in a pay off , they are utter pish
  4. A massive reason not mentioned in this thread is the condition of the Pitch this season. . The cup trip to that tottie field up in Abeeen showed how important a good playing surface is to us. A vital underlooked investment by the club
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39621636 Dundee taking a big chance there. Not a lot of games left. Would love a Dundee derby play off
  6. Tomas Cerny for me. I love him.I actually proper love him
  7. ...................................also, really impressed by young McCarthy. That fud Lasley tried to bully him when he came on an he wasn't having it.
  8. https://www.facebook...56164018773782/ Hope this link works pinched from the FB supporters page. , Look at the players at the final whistle.Absolutley exausted and out on their feet.Wee Muzzy colapses onto his knees and the others cant stand up straight. What a great bunch of guys. . As good a bond between supporters and players as I can remember A real Band of Brothers.
  9. The ball seemed to be partly over the line right in the bottom corner, How he got his hand on it and managed to get it round the post was astonishing. Amazing he didn't hit it off the post and in. It took me a second to realise the ball wasn't in the net. A match-winning moment. Twenty years from now when people ask what is the best save youve ever seen that one will be high on the list.,,,,,,,,,Brilliant
  10. The performance of Devine , Keown and Lindsay was a fitting tribute to Jackie Campbell. Total regaurd action in the second half but the team's commitment , effort and passion was magnificent. Coming out of that game with a clean sheet is testomony to how many of they guys are giving all for the jersey. Cerny's save was as good as anything Ive seen going back to the days of Rough. So proud of the players at the end.
  11. For me, the two major factors in our early poor form were the suprisingly poor performances from Ziggy Gordon and the injury to Cerny.
  12. The effort and willpower to get over the line there was immense. Some standouts performances , Lindsay , Elliot and Azeez were magnificent and of course DOOOOOOLAAAN. Team spirit at the match end brought a lump to my throat. Real physical battle of a game which we often loose but the team manned up magnificently. Great atmosphere in the Northy during and at the end too.
  13. Yeah it's joe Craig Celtics TV edit doesnt show the two jags players being booked for being elbowed in the face by celtic the players. And Ronnie Glavin In a smeltic tap is horrible
  14. May be so, but we are still paying for that garbage.
  15. The worst football show in Britian. Sarah O couldn't make it worse.
  16. Work rate and tempo were excellent throughout the game. One gripe is our players seem to have a mindset of pass before shoot when they get a glimpse of the goal. Great to see Muzzy Back.
  17. Our creative players couldnt get going. A lot of Erskine's and Lawless's flicks and passes werent coming off but not due to lack of effort or endevour but more to do with the conditions. Difficult to Judge any player today given the terrible weather but Barton , Cerny and Booth all looked good and another clean sheet for the defence is a positive. Maybe a case for getting Azeez on sooner . Was pretty glad when the whistle went.
  18. Tomas was excellent today in awful conditions.
  19. Probably deserves it's own thread, copied from Potty Trained Transfer target for Leeds United, Birmingham and Portdsmouth in January. http://www.dailyreco...thistle-9535424
  20. He's looking for another clearout this January. Doesn't seem like a manager inerested in improving what he's got. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/kilmarnock-manager-lee-clark-ready-9528287
  21. A total team performance. Stood up to a physical battering from a horrible Dundee side and came out on top. Barton and Edwards were magnicent and we won that game as much off the ball a on it. Every player deserves credit for that victory including the subs. One of these games were you are proud of your team. The ref was just fuk1n unbelivable , gave nearly every challenge as a foul against us. A clean sheet and a couple of goals at the Northy...............IT'S CHRIIIIIIIIISSSTMAAAS
  22. Merry Xmas to all Knicker Wetters and Happy Clappers alike and the majority of us who fall somewhere in between. Jingle bells to all
  23. A lot will depend on the transfer windowI think. If Motherwell lost Moult all it would take would be an injury to MacDonald and they would struggle big time.
