  1. Heard a rumour that out wage bill is almost 4x times that of Ayr United and still considerably larger than Livingston's. Scandalous mis-management at the club.
  2. Was very concerned by that yesterday, more of the same old. Same old team, same old game plan, same post match drivel from the manager. A peahearted team if ever I seen one. Its laughable that Archie said pre-season we would be onto some quality loans, Alloa have much better loan players than us, how pathetic is that! Archie couldn't pick his nose let alone a good player. Archie has left us in as bad, if not worse a state than than DC. At least the bunnet signed Mark Roberts.
  3. that second goal **** me, car crash pass from mcginty to melbourne under pressure, we get dispossessed twice by an ex thistle diddy mcdaid before an assist from him. well done archie. you've signed about 50 strikers and they've done nothing, yet you sign a centre half worse than devine. outdone what even i thought you were capable of. we are a total mess. lightweight all over. centre halfs still hoofing it, midfielders still going sideways, no dig, nothing up front. this is a relegation team with this management and squad. i'm not even sure its just a lack of finance, archie has proven time and time again hes incapable of building a squad.
  4. We're bringing up good crosses he made four years ago to defend him? Heh even a broken clock makes right twice a day....
  5. Best cross Christie Elliott has put in all year.
  6. Going by last year, its an extra ten grand in the bank in prize money and obviously the gate money as well. However would you trust Archie not the squander it? I thought the board told us he would be given a decent budget anyway in their statement. ETA: Looking at over 20k for a televised match as well
  7. The only team we are definitely better than going into the season is Alloa.
  8. I thought days of shite like Michael Moffat giving Thistle any problems were over, it was like something from DC's season watching a fat diddy like that bully our defence. Thats now 5 years since Thistle have come back from 2-0 down to claim anything in a match. That sums up this team. Spineless and bland as said previously. From the manager to players like Spittal, Gordon, Keown. Dools looks shot. McGinty is going to be a total liablity between his hoofball and lack of pace, we somehow managed to downgrade on Devine. Christie Elliott has run his course at Thistle. Storer is a red card waiting to happen. A little boy behind me summed things up perfectly "this is how Man City play when they are 5-0 up" we were 2-0 down and passing the ball sideways in the middle third of the pitch. Hard to find positives. If hes fit Bell should be solid. Storey was threatening first half and then back to his usual self however second half.
  9. whats the script then for the pub under new ownership? other than thistle games, and i may be wrong, the area feels dead otherwise.
  10. missed the game yesterday, surprised pleasantly by the attendance, how many killie fans?
  11. so does this change anything now with the proposals for the city end?
  12. Will barely get 3k Thistle fans. Our support is pathetic.
  13. Gutted I can't make the game on Saturday. Just think if it was 1 up 1 down as at was before, boring!
  14. If he wants to hang on for something else, hes welcome to. We should absolutely not be waiting on players like him. He won't get a better club anyway.
  15. James Craigen is absolutely awful. No composure, terrible touch, can't beat a man, powderpuff. Aside from the goal, where he couldn't miss, just utterly horrendous. Elliott was much the same. Crappy low crosses all day, can't get the ball by a defender unless it involves a stray pass. What does Archie see in him that he doesn't in Lawless? The Stevenson substitution was horrendous. He was winning a lot of balls, keeping a hold of it. Yet Archie takes him off and leaves a couple of absolute passengers on? He took our best player off, it didn't tighten things up either. What did it do!? Balatoni and O'Donnell showing again even when the opposition are offering no threat of their own they are still always at risk of screwing up at any time. O'Donnell had his hands all over the Dundee sub on the edge of the box at one point in the second half, doesn't engage his brain at all. Need Frans back next to big Seaborne who was immense again, ASAP. Forget the budget, all the problems are fixable, but Archie persists. We will stay up this year, but if we are to make the next step or even protect ourselves as stronger clubs like Hearts come up, we have to be more ruthless and cut some of these players in the summer. Guys who were squad players under Jackie like Craigen and Elliott in the 1st division and Balatoni.
  16. Me and my son got tickets one after each other in the queue and we were given seats sections apart nevermind rows. I was down south for work last week, why should I need to prioritise my life around a game where there was clearly going to be plenty of room in the end. **** up from St. Mirren initially, but the seat nazis really need to get a life. Or turn up before 2 minutes to 3.
  17. Thought it was a crap game, where an error was going to be what won it, but we'll take it, been on the wrong end of a few of those.
  18. Exactly how I feel sadly...
  19. I've always hated the new badge. That real scottish football shite that brought it on it had to the biggest load of shite ever.
  20. Having one recognised striker at the club by the end of August is simply inexcusable.
  21. I'd like to see his record facing penalties. Without looking at stats I can't really remember any saves. Gallacher has saved from memory, three in 2014? (Killie, Aberdeen, Dundee) (?)
  22. same here.... don't grudge the fiver, but almost knew those chancing pricks would offer up a farce of a service.
  23. posters on the dundee forum having the same issue
  24. Dundee being cowboys, hardly shocker of the century...*****.
