A few interesting posts on there amongst the usual, im not pressing the panic button yet. Ive seen all the games this season and we are very close to being a decent team but we have 2 or 3 weak links that most of us thought would be strengths. I think many expected Erskine and Stewart to be key players for us this year , so far they have been playing like they havent seen a football before and the team is suffering because of it. You can just about get away with one passenger at this level but 2 or more and its an impossible task. Hamilton next weekend could be make or break for the season, we have to win this one, no would like too or anything like that. In a league where every team can beat every other one we cannot afford to be miles behind after only a few games.

You do that though and we end up in the situation where we lost Craigen and Burns as we only offered them one year deals (ok and Gerry Collins was gonna be the manager)

Never a penalty IMO, player stopped then threw himself to the ground , even their keeper was shaking his head at it. Toothless performance though , no idea how we are going to change this to make it work as we look utterly clueless. Pass marks to Rowson , Cairney, Fox , and Balatoni, Robertson and Lindsay who did ok , rest were a disgrace and should be taking a long look at their performance tonight

Thought our number 8 looked good , some decent touches and a few good runs , he runs like he has shat himself though. I think the newer players need a lot of work before they will even be near the first team but no way should the be written off after one game when a lot of them will not have played in the same team as each other.

If the playoffs are 11th SPL and 2nd 3rd 4th Div One then that gets my vote (as long as we finish 4th since thats our lucky spot ) 2 legs for 11th/4th and 2nd/3rd then playoff final at Hampden or a decetn sized neutral venue.

If done right it wouldn't be a bad thing. When DB was looking for ideas I sent one on to him with a plan to do an official supporters club , would work alongside the JT or TBH replace it as its useless in its current form. I had suggested something like - £20 a year (discounted by £10 for season ticket holders) - annual membership card - weekly email from the club - quarterly postal contact from the club with news/offers etc - pin badge each year To me its not about trying to milk fans for more cash its about getting more fans interested in the club and keeping them informed about what is going on. If you get people interested then they are more likely to attend games (although in a lot of cases it will be the due hard fans who will subscribe to this kind of thing) I think its a good thing the club is emailing people , wish they would do it more and actually set up a proper mailing list people can subscribe to , then get a professional setup on the mail before it is sent out

Know of this song , was sung years ago, still dont like it. Not appropriate to be sung now as everyone says ,but doesnt that suggest that as a fan base we have been able to move on from that kind of crap while others are still stuck decades even centuries ago ? Was there and it was an amazing day out. Big Country, Goodbye Mr MacKenzie and Deacon Blue were excellent. Seem to remember watching Hue and Cry in George Sq as well but that one is well hazy Fantastic day for Glasgow , guaranteed you couldnt have that now without their being a ton of trouble

The only reasons I can think for this decision are 1 - the police wont allow it to be a free for all with the carnage that could happen with Celtic fans in the JH stand 2 - Celtic have indicated they will fill the North Stand

None, however would counter that with people who like the way the club us going with giving youth a chance and looking to build from within. I know of at least 3 people who have taken season tickets this year that have had one for years as they like the way the club is moving forward and see it as a way of giving them the backing they need to continue that. Dont get me wrong I would love us to have the cash to go out and buy a top class defender and striker. Maybe we have something lined up , I dont know. But hey its only the 2nd week of June , we at least have what looks like a decent squad already signed , others have 4 or 5 players and thats it.
