  1. expatshield seems to be working fine. At least I can listen to the "english" commentary just fine. And I can see some picture on BBC Alba. Let's just hope that it will also work once the game starts!
  2. Oh well, still 2 games less than Morton. So there's still the chance to get the top position back, IF we can win any of those games... and IF the matches can take place eventually.
  3. Put me down for 10 Pounds as well. Even though chances are slim that I can ever see the flag "in real life". I really like the idea.
  4. A deserved and much needed win. Almost let's me forget the embarrassing result against Dumbarton.
  5. IIRC, Bayern had 20+ corners in the CL final last year, and they didn't score once... (Chelsea on the other hand, scored from their first and only corner...) I would have loved very hard, if Celtic had actually won or drawn this game, but it seems to be an unwritten rule, that a ref has to give Barca just as long as they need to win the game in extra time.
  6. Oh my god. I was a little late for the match, so I quickly loaded the live ticker on the official page... 3:0. Great! Then I refreshed the ticker a few minutes later... 5:0. Wait what? BUT: with the 4:4 between Germany and Sweden still in mind... I can't be too happy about the score right now.
  7. Great save by Fox at the end. And wow, that last header just went wide. At first I was thinking it was going in!
  8. Yeah, the First League must be the only league in Europe that gives you absolutely NOTHING if you end up on the second spot.
  9. I guess there are easier games than away against Morton in the league. Still I am a bit disappointed by the result. Anyway, hopefully it will be a better result in the semi-finals next time.
  10. Very nice! 6 wins after 6 matches. But for me, those are wins to stay in the league (as in "not get relegated") rather than to win this league. We are thistle, after all. So we have to be as pessimistic as we can!
  11. I'm very surprised that Goal.com can't spell "masturbate" correctly!
  12. Because Kiew is in the Ukraine, Zagreb is in Croatia. Different countries, different languages. Anyway, I'm surprised that Borisov (Борисов, or if you prefer belarusian: Барысаў) won at Lille on Wednesday. Now they are top of their group, since Bayern only won 2:1 against Valencia.
  13. Would be great if we could continue our current streak. And I don't care how we do it. A crappy game is fine with me, as long as we are winning!
  14. Ohh, the game is on BBC Alba and I am able to watch a (very low quality) live stream. Nice!
  15. Well, my mother is a HSV supporter, my wife (and the rest of my in-law-family) supports St. Pauli. I support the only club that matters in Germany: Bayern München.
  16. I really would like to buy the away strip for this season. But Greaves wants to charge me 20€ for shipping costs. WTF?! Anyway, as long as we are winning, I don't care what we are wearing. Hell, they could even play naked, if it would help us!
  17. Actually, the Allianz Arena (Stadium of Bayern München) is bigger when it comes to international games (about 68.000 seats, 66.000 last season). In Bundesliga matches, the Signal Iduna Park (stadium of Borussia Dortmund) has a capacity of about 80.000. The hughe difference between national and international games is because the stadium has stances for their home fans, but they have to convert them to seats for international games.
  18. The thing is, not too many people know how to pronounce "Šahtar". The transcription "Shakhtar" tells you exactly how to pronounce it, and that's all that counts. Not too many people know how to pronounce "München" or "Köln", that's why it's written "Munich" and "Cologne" in english. Surprisingly enough, "Mönchengladbach" doesn't have an "english spelling", even though I think that it's much more difficult to pronounce than "München". ^^
  19. Schalke should advance their group, maybe even win it. Arsenal sure is the stronges opponent. Dortmund: I guess they will go out as 4th of their group. Maybe they can get a few points against City at home and against Ajax, but other than that, I don't see how they could advance. Bayern: Everything else than a group win would be a disappointment. Valencia is the strongest opponent, but come on... USUALLY they are no match for Bayern. But USUALLY they shouldn't lose against teams like Borisov, but I have the strange feeling that they will do just that... Celtic: They will finish last of their group. They SHOULD win against Moscow, but I'm afraid, they won't.
  20. Same here, only I was stuck in Germany. Sure there must be some way to pick up fans from abroad? Anyway, Top of the League! YAY!
  21. Very nice victory. Good to see Cairney scoring three goals, even though it should have been 4.
  22. My first game was a 2-0 loss against Dunfermline last season in September. Sadly, this is also the only game so far. But I hope I can return to Firhill soon.
  23. And yet another game lost in the final minute.
