Think he'll do very well in first div. say what u want about him leaving us, and his 2nd season wasnt up to much, but his first season with us was a joy to watch and i think this is a very good signing for a firat division club

Pleased enough with it considering lack of match fitness a few of the guys had. Solid debut of gordon and im sure more to come. Booth looked rusty and tired a bit in second half. I agree that central defence is biggest worry, devine looked average and lindsay whilst promisng is prone to mistakes so we do need another body in there. Welsh and wilson played well, wilson is a lovely passer of the ball, this is make or break this year i think. Mcdaid can go anytime hes not up to it. Would be delighted if he proved me wrong but i dont see anything to be excited about. Lawless dools and erskine will get us plenty goals this year. Azeez was a revelation when he came on, huge physical presence. Looking forward to next week onwards and upwards

A year will suit ziggy as he has another year in the shop window, and it suits us as if he decides to move on dumbuya should be back fit, win win. To get gordon and bannigan both signed this summer is mightily impressive for our club, well done archie maxi and the board

We are fkn pish, cant make it to a euros that pub teams have made it to, have such little interest in scotland now due to years of failure, i was 13 at time of france 98, havent really seen a good scotland team my whole life. That last qualification was a huge blown opportunity, i dont mind strachan but cant see him getting us to a tournament, we are scottish and dont get nice things!

I thought Edwards played well, I like the look of him and can see him being a huge player for us next season. I thought Nesbitt came on to a game and was unlucky with his lob. As the game stretched and he got more space he looked good i thought. Not sure if he was just giving him a run or thinking toward next season, u think Nesbitt would be back? Would you yourself take him back? At the right price I'd say he was worth another look aslong as his wage not too much. Especially as I think Lawless was saying his goodbyes, brought his wee girl onto the pitch and was waving to crowd in a way that suggested to me he's for the off. Could be wrong and hope I am wrong. Edited to add that's the best I've seen David Wilson look in a Jags strip, strolled through the game I thought...could do with a loan next year i think though to bring him on a bit, like Bannigans loan with Ayr

Could tell both teams were safe, some shocking defending and goalkeeping from both teams, thought the keepers were to blame for all 4 goals though i'd need to see it back. Defensively we were minging, eamonn brophy ripped us a new arse. enjoyable end of season stuff tho in the sun
