  1. From half time until the red card I thought we were excellent. Right in their faces and pressing high up the pitch. First half was the complete opposite. I thought Storey played pretty well, he's quick and direct. McGinn had a decent debut and Elliot was excellent on the left. Nice to see him with the captains armband as well, the guy has been a brilliant servant to us. Team did well to get the point in the end, Sammon and Bannigan played a key role in seeing it out. Time to be more positive and look forward to the games coming up
  2. McCoist was bang on about Edwards challenge. Sutton is a circus act, screams loudly about any small decisions to create controversy.
  3. How Rangers got the throw in before the goal is a joke. Good strike but think Scully might have done better
  4. See what happens when they make the right decisions in attack!
  5. Execution and decision making in attack has been poor. Couple of times we've been in behind and picked the completely wrong option
  6. That's a pretty embarrassing assumption.
  7. Wonder why we've only listed 6 subs? Judging by the pics on twitter, McGinn is with the squad. Fingers crossed the boys get the job done.
  8. I'd fancy Elliot's chances if he's marking Charlie Christie!
  9. Glad to see we're keeping our heads after the first competitive game of the season!
  10. Dumbuya has had surgery on a new knee injury, out for a few months. Looks like we'll be adding a full back to the list of players we're after.
  11. Osman has been posting videos on social media of working hard in the gym. I don't think he's so much as injured but rather working his way back from the end of season surgery he had.
  12. He stated earlier in the week that Lindsay should be looking at a club higher up than Oxford. I'd imagine he would hold similar ambitions for his own career.
  13. First hint has the badge on a very bright blue colour....
  14. Hibs in for Simon Murray. Looks mine he won't be Firhill bound
  15. I think it is being fair to say that the attitude yesterday was a disgrace. We've been hammered before and I'm sure we will be again. To my mind, once that first goal went in yesterday you could clearly see several players just wander back to position. There was no inquest, demanding more of each other. Same happened after the 2nd, 3rd etc. Aberdeen are a great team, as are Celtic (for our standard anyway) but we didn't lay a glove on either. It's been a great season but that shouldn't excuse the last 2 performances. At the very least a bit of professional pride should come in to it.
  16. Craigen?! He was an honest player for us, scored a memorable goal against Morton and was good with the fans. He isn't the type of player who is going to help us get top 6 again next season. We need to look to improve, not sign guys who weren't deemed good enough in a team less superior to the one we have now.
  17. Great effort and nice words from both gents handing over the awards. A nice way to sign off for the season and let's us forget the 90mins before it! Here's to many more Doolan goals over the next few years.
  18. We were missing half a team granted but.... The attitude of some of the players was disgraceful. Tactics dubious as well, Lindsay at full back then lawless? Lindsay played like a guy courting a big move and not wanting to get injured. The 4 young boys can be proud of their efforts, especially Fleming who had 2 red hot wingers to deal with. He's obviously nowhere near ready for this level but he stuck at it and kept it simple. well done to the few players who faced up to the fans at the end. Fairly obvious the ones heading straight for the tunnel. The fans did well to keep going as well, North stand in good voice. Terrible end to a good season, hoping it's not Archie's last in charge.
  19. Osman has been concerning me for a few months now. There was a time when he was the first name on the sheet and quite rightly captain. Perhaps its niggling injuries that are effecting him but he has been rotten recently (even before his injury). Barton is class and has been most of the season. He, along with the rest, was poor last night. I guess we're all annoyed at the attitude the team displayed considering we got a point at parkhead and know we're capable of so much better. That Celtic team are on a diffferent level to anything in our league, when they hit top gear like that most teams would face a battering. I'd give McCarthy a start against the Dons, hopefully we finish what has overall been a great season on a high.
  20. I remember that Hibs game well. We hammered them only to lose to a peach of a strike from Liam Craig. (Sound familiar?!) That chance Doolan had is one of the only times I've seen him look so unsure when bearing down on goal. He glanced at the linesman a few times before tamely hitting an effort at the keeper. Speaks volumes about him that he regards that as one of his lowest moments only to rectify it a couple of weeks later.
  21. Reading some of the signing suggestions on this thread, I'm glad it's up to Archie to source our new players.
  22. Sore one. Really sore as they are absolutely rotten and we should have been out of sight. Osman wasn't fit to last the 90, he should have been off earlier. Edwards has many qualities but he really needs to work on his passing/retaining possession. Between him and Osman we kept giving the ball away resulting in inviting pressure on to ourselves. I'm not sure why Archie left it so long to make changes, was fairly obvious a few were knackered.
  23. Liam Lindsay included in the team. Fantastic achievement. Few more pounds on his transfer fee as well!
  24. Fully deserved. I'd imagine a few teams down South will be taking serious notice now. Still, the more recognition he gets, the better the team will be doing.
