  1. I’ll abandon my usual travel method of running down the road naked, and instead walk at a sensible pace while fully clothed.
  2. Get the Cowdenbeath fog machine on!
  3. I thought it was a reasonable question... but you're Bounty get some complaints.
  4. My JHS seat is slightly apart from the centre of the stand, and there’s no sticker on it to say it’s reserved. Is that the case for everyone or is it just me? Hard to tell because I’m away from most ST holders. Every week there’s someone in my seat. I can usually sit nearby but a) there’ll come a time when I can’t and b) I could be nicking someone else’s seat. Just wondering if it’s an oversight or something I’ll need to address myself (by making an official-looking sticker of my own )
  5. Re McGinty: In the GC interview with Si Ferry he talks about how he was always taught “height and distance” aka “jist get rid”. Then when Tony Mowbray was his manager he was encouraged to actually use the ball by getting it to a team mate. McGinty is the absolute king of “height and distance” just now. Really hope it gets coached out of him.
  6. Slater was excellent earlier this season when he had Gordon playing behind him, allowing him to be more creative. Someone behind me commented on how his every first touch is negative and I thought that was spot on. He’s always veering backwards or sideways at first. i think we’re really missing Gordon or another natural holding midfielder.
  7. I suppose what bothered me about it was that the players have given the impression that’s their attitude for at least six months now. At least the fans were angry about losing before. Now we seem stuck in the same malaise. That’s really worrying.
  8. There was no anger at full time, just “oh well, we lost again”. Its maybe down to giving GC time but there’s an acceptance around us that’s really worrying. The walk out from the JHS to the road was eerily quiet.
  9. I always felt the “come on Thistle” song was a slightly more polite version of this.
  10. Ah well, he kept the back four after all.
  11. I’m actually interested to see what he’ll do in that area. Guys like Melbourne, Scobbie and even Jeffries or Sena have had as much chance to impress the manager as any of this season’s mainstays.
  12. “Yeah, he’s got that in his locker” after a player does something. Well obviously. He just did it.
  13. Not sure if this is all of it https://stv.tv/sport/football/1431916-gary-caldwell-thistle-promotion-task-one-i-ll-thrive-on/
  14. Bannigan and Slater were both guilty of being ponderous on the ball in central midfield, time and again. That’s where we lost the game, I feel. Neither side had someone with a bit of dig to dictate the play but DU had enough cohesion moving the ball forward that they could capitalise on it.
  15. I agree. Had a bit of steel about him but was also positive.
  16. Haven’t seen much chat about how dire the ref was. County got away with countless pushes in the back of our players, though our tactic of pumping long balls to our (much shorter) players didn’t help. He also failed to give us a load of other decisions in the first half, hence the booing at half time, which I think was directed at him rather than the team/manager at that point. They were certainly much more streetwise* than us. *=cynical

  18. Weird comment from Fox in this interview, saying hopefully the Jags fans will turn on the team. It'd be nice to prove him wrong.
  19. He had a pleasing howler last week though
