twinny
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28995560 Kluivert apparently applied for the vacancy.
Rid Skwerr
Well, that was a headline I never thought I'd read!
lady-isobel-barnett
Quite happy with the McIntyre & Dodds dream team. Don't recall either of them being that successful elsewhere.
Mediocre Pundit
Undoubtedly did a decent job but let's not forget that this was hardly a club run within its means. McGregor had the cheque book out at every turn. They wouldn't have survived last season had they not spent so big in January. His attitude was a disgrace and I'm led to believe that was one of the reasons why McGregor punted him. McGregor enjoys a good relationship with all other Scottish clubs and Adams antics had jeopardised that. His declaration on Saturday that DU had "stolen" the 3 points was probably the last straw. It was a never ending case of sour grapes with Adams. A continuing lack of class, dignity and humility which probably wasn't in keeping with the chairman, who is famous for his kindness and hospitality towards visiting clubs. His dad is a bit of a ****** too. Glad they've left County, great wee club who didn't deserve them.
kni
http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/28995560 Kluivert apparently applied for the vacancy. But could County afford the LVG's Netherlands assistant? If they could, it's a missed opportunity. Patrick Kluivert had a fantastic playing career and has coached good young and international players. Scottish football needs talented international coaches who can bring new ideas and fresh thinking.
lady-isobel-barnett
When it comes to managing rival clubs Partick Thistle need unaccomplished coaches who can come from cloud cuckoo land for all I care. As long as they bring stale ideas and outmoded thinking.
Jaggernaut
Don't know if this has already been commented on, but Derek Adams is the son of George Adams, who played on match for Thistle in season 73-74 (a 2-0 defeat to Dumbarton at Firhill).
