Jaggernaut
Tricky one..... Is that us playing in either red or blue? Hugh Strachan clearing with a header? Bobby Lawrie to the left? No idea who the No. 8 is, but in any case I might be totally wrong!

Jaggernaut
I think it's vs. Dumbarton (H) Sep 1972 Denis up with the 'keeper. No. 8 in this one looks like Coulston, but not in the other pic.

Winter of '63
I think that could be Nobby Clark heading the ball away...Hugh Strachan is looking on...wearing 6 not 8. We definitely played in red. This might have been the first game of the Season against Dumbarton where we won 4-1 and were top of the League for a few hours. jaggy
Photo taken after beating Killie in the league cup Aug 1975 (undefeated in the league cup qualifying campaign). We won all 6 games I think
Winter of '63
So far the Jags on twitter have this line up I agree with most of that line up but third from right on back row is Brian Ralston...could the guy next to him be a young Andy Anderson? Front row second from right is Jim Docherty not Jim Mullin who was small & fair-haired. No idea about the guy to his left. JeanieD
Donnie McDowall and Jim Kelly are in the front row - I think - and bottom row extreme right might be Jim? Logan who played right back against Raith in the home game in the league cup group section 1971-2(5-0) Edited June 23, 2016 by JeanieD
lady-isobel-barnett
Donnie McDowall and Jim Kelly are in the front row - I think - and bottom row extreme right might be Jim? Logan who played right back against Raith in the home game in the league cup group section 1971-2(5-0) Is it not a bit early for Jim Kelly? I'd only recognise Kelly from after he'd left us and gone up North so I'd could be well wrong.
JeanieD
LIB You may be right - I was just going by a quick instinctive look - and a fading memory for events 45 years or thereabout ago - naturally I was extremely young at the time so my memory might be playing tricks on me.

Jaggernaut
same game as above Frank Coulston and Jimmy Bone. The kind of striking partnership that I dream of seeing again. Charlie Smith in the background. Sadly, it seems that he passed away a few years ago, but I've never seen anything to confirm that.
