Camallain
A 3-2 win for the Jags over Dumbarton at the Garscube complex today. Threw away two goals in the last couple of minutes but by that point due to substitutions the team was pretty much an under 20's side. The big trialist centre forward ( he was getting called James) played the first half and looked good, physically strong, held the ball up well, and as you will see below could also stick it in the back off the net! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkoqpih9NpI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VQMxQNuYAo Edited July 11, 2015 by Camallain

Lindau
Any sign of a trialist right back? Nope. Miller played till half time. Did ok. After that it was young guys that came on. Small ginger haired guy came on after about 60 mins and played at right back. Looked very pacy but also very young. Lindau
That be McInally methinks. Entertaining wee player with good attitude. The young fella showed plenty of promise and pace when he came on. It was a very young team for the last 20 minutes or so
thebiglemon
If this was closed doors how did you get in?
Camallain
If this was closed doors how did you get in? Splitting hairs a bit are we not If they had decided to play at Firhill then it would have been closed doors. As it was they went to Garscube, which is open to the public, but did not publicise the venue or kick off time so although it's stretching the terminology to the limit it was still essentially a closed door game. However it would appear that keeping the venue and kick off time a secret is not that easy Edited July 11, 2015 by Camallain
Lindau
If this was closed doors how did you get in? Just walked in. It's an open park. Fair amount of people watching the game including Robert Reid

Fair amount of people watching the game including Robert Reid Reid, that old weekend renegade! Heard he and some like minded spent the night up on the fourth fairway at Killermont Golf Club in a some ad hoc tented village they'd renamed Desolation Row. Earlier today evidently kicked the fences down surrounding the Science Park declaring it an open friendly. Normally dismiss Robert Reid's anarchistic tendencies as verging on nihilism but in this instance I salute him. I hope those who were lucky enough to see the friendly can see their way to do likewise. Power to the Jags People! Perth jag
Would be nice if the official site was to up-date us on what trialists were used or even how the younger lads faired against Dumbarton. The pitch looked in pretty good shape as well.
The Jukebox Rebel
ROBERT REID'S Garscube Army! Well done to all of our troops involved in this highly effective ground level operation.

Lindau
Don't know about you guys but that trialiist scoring the 2 goals looks very good he looks special sign him 2 year deal He certainly wasn't fit, hence why he went off at half time. Took he goals really well and held the ball up well. Deffo worth a few outings in the upcoming games to see what he is like once he is a bit fitter and against stronger opposition

Lindau
Did McLaughlin, Duggan or Nisbet play any part against Dumbarton? McLaughlin came on for the last 20. Didn't see Duggan and wouldn't recognise Nisbet if he passed me in the street
