I'll never forget that game and the o.g in particular. I was right behind the goal and as soon as it came off the defenders head I knew it was going in. Jim Leighton's (I think, but could be confusing it with the one against Hibs where nicky Walker punted it and it bounced over Leighton....before Issac English(?) tapped it over the line) face was a picture as he turned to see the ball in the net. Quality memory, and the sense of satisfaction at getting revenge for the 6-2 defeat they had inflicted on us a short time earlier made my walk to the bus stop on Maryhill Rd (and giving the Dundee supporters buses a 2 fingered salute as they passed) was magic Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
