chunky jag
Elgin's the only place I've not been in that list so I'll take that. Failing that, anyone at home.

1 John Lambie
Home draw against a 3rd division side, couldn't ask for much more. Hopefully secure a nice win to give the players confidence for the opening league game the following Saturday.
Blackpool Jags
Would've preferred a nice wee day out at Berwick.

Smurph
Damon Gray is still at Berwick, yes. Disappointed it's not away, but my mate supports Berwick, so it will be good to beat them again.
lady-isobel-barnett
Hardly the most haud me back of a draw. Like others would have preferred an interesting away tie. Can't tho' believe anyone would want an away tie at Peterhead. That's gotta be as depressing as going to Livingston, in fact worse.
uberteeb
Can't we gt them away for Christ sake
yoda-jag
Can't we gt them away for Christ sake In fact, so do i We could always say our pitch won't be ready to play any home games until 7th or 14th August and offer to switch the tie to their ground? As for getting them again, groundhog year here we come again. Though another 5-1 victory over them would soften that blow a tiny fraction. redmike
Does this count as European fitba, if we're playing a team from another country?
Hot Shot
Peterhead. That's gotta be as depressing as going to Livingston, in fact worse. I've only been once, and it was feckin' awesome
northernsoul
Although it isn't a very exciting draw I'm still quite happy it's at home. Even though it's a team two leagues below and we should, on paper win comfortably I'd rather have the young players have a game at home to try and gel into the team than a tricky away tie. Good point. We won't have many players that could be described as "periphery". In fact with the exception of Ketterer & Stevenson it looks like all our squad will have to be first team ready from the off. Playing as many of the youngsters as early as possible would be sensible. I'd also expect us to field an "understrength" team in the Challenge Cup. Even if we went on to win that daft but costly cup I could only take pride in our success if we had played a batch of younger players in every round.
