hamiltonjag
Star & Garter (though I wish they'd bring back the "beer garden" for us smokers!)
uberteeb
Woody for me although I make the occasional trip to the Star when none of 'my crew' make the game and it's good banter up there as well.
Munkey
Was once the royalty, now the Star, and you canny beat it.
Lambies Lost Doo
Aitken Suite. It's the closest and does the job. Plus every little helps the club be it a pint or packet of crips.
alx
Woody. The Start and Garter looks good as well.
lady-isobel-barnett
S & G mainly. Was going to say I might go down to the Woodside if there's a match on the telly but tbh I've lost a lot of interest in watching premiership/SPL games so I'll no doubt stay put. B.C.G. JAG
Any mix of Captains Rest, Woody, Star and sometimes the Brass Monkey on the way hame (it is actually close to where I live!).
Blackpool Jags
Strathy - you get a better quality of drunk in there. Otherwise, S&G - always a decent pint and a laugh on the odd occasion I make it in there. I'd like to use the AS a bit more but, the lager's pure pish, overpriced and the place is generally a bit of a keech hole; otherwise ok. Tom Hosie
The Star...nae Sky Sports but cheap drink and always a right good laugh..the jukey is no bad for a wee drunken listen after the game Have spent a small fortune on that very jukebox. Haven't a pre-match pint at a home game for about a zillion years but do enjoy popping into the Star for a post match debrief. Always get a warm welcome and a taxi phoned when it's time to leave. Morfin
Living abroad can I say The Firhill Tavern (hands in ears and in denial about any replies telling me I wouldnt like it now) although truthfully I used to drink in Munns more back then. Meister Jag
Aitken suite for me or the solid rock cafe on Hope St Just to ask if kids are allowed into the Aitken Suite before the game? Anyone? Cheers MJ
lady-isobel-barnett
Just to ask if kids are allowed into the Aitken Suite before the game? Anyone? Cheers MJ Most definitely. It's probably one of the main reasons folk go there. Iirc there's a good bit of segregation away from the bar where you need to go but it's not like you're tucked away in a corner or anything like that. I've always known it was there but have never ventured inside. Today will be a first and as someone said, it gives a little bit back to the club. Cheers and here's to a win today!! Ross
I rarely go for a pint pre-match but I'm usually in the Star and Garter after the game. Don't get me wrong, the place smells like everyone's just soiled themselves, you get served a Tennents when you ask for a Guiness and you have to listen to Ian Mac's fairytales but it's one of the greatest places in the world.
