lady-isobel-barnett
In fairness though, when do you see an event flyer advertising the things that WON'T be available? There will be no fire-eaters or dwarf-throwing competitions but I don't expect to be told that in the promotions. Ah well I was going to stay off the shorts anyway
Jaggernaut
Interesting feature about 1971 and the big night coming up on the SFL website: http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/october_2011/what_a_sensation_sfl_interviews_mcparland_rae_and_mcquade "...McQuade turned out to be as mesmerising off the pitch as he was on it with McParland saying: “I was told that Denis would have me tearing my hair out at times and that is what happened. He turned up at training once with long hair and a moustache and I told him that was not appropriate for a professional footballer. He told me that he could not be denied his idiosyncrasies and I told him not to use big words!”"

lennythistle
I've got a ticket for this and was thinking of taking my 4 year old who i take to firhill with me. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's going to be much for the kids to do? I would like to take her along with me but if shes bored it will be a nightmare!! My 3 yr old son will be there, so at least she'd have another child to play with in. I was given tickets for another show that night as a gift...........I've taken the decision that this is a night not to be missed. Just not telling my sisters as they will be so angry!
