twinny
Aspartame gives you brain cancer. No it doesn't. Aspartame is the most stringently checked food ingredient and meets all safety regulations, and has been proven to be safe despite a high number of (completely unfounded) health scares. Fawlty Towers
Something that I had not picked up on straight away is that unlike last year when it was one table of 30 teams this year it is 3 divisions of 10 so instead of having a one in thirty chance of winning £10,000 we have a one in ten chance of winning that amount! It was the same the first year with the texts. I wonder why they changed it back, as last years seemed fairer.
Fawlty Towers
There was a positive finish to the weekend with the youth teams winning 3 out of their 4 fixtures (the other result was a draw): http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/february_2012/youth_round_up_-_february_26th Remember to collect your cans during the week please for collection at the game on Saturday! northernsoul
A 24 pack of Irn-Bru is £5 at Lidl. Club should maybe look into investing in this and selling them on at a reduced price in the Aitken Suite.

northernsoul
Maybe some of the money from the 50/50 tickets should be set a side for this competition? What are the average sales of tickets in the 50/50 draw? If 50% of the money raised by the 50/50 draw goes towards youth development then what if a percentage of this money was spent on buying cans? Assuming, say 400-500 buy tickets on Saturday, that amounts to £200-£250. Split than in half and the Youth Development is looking at £100-£150. If you set a side £25, you could go to Lidl and buy 120 cans of Irn-Bru. Speculate to accumulate?

Then sell the cans to the punters, with the proviso that they have to buy more 50/50 tickets.... Brilliant!
