St mirren's Gilmour said no SPL team had any input into the document that was sent to SFL clubs. No reason not to believe him on that .

I want the same thing that would happen to any of the normal 40 clubs in Scotland in this scenario. They form a new club, they must apply to get in to the 3rd, they must apply along with other clubs who are interested and meet the criteria, they must have 3 years of accounts. Therefore the rules in place dictate they dont get back in for 3 years.

The rules make this a discretionary requirement - ie it's no barrier to Newco.
