Used to really detest the guy but he does seem to talk a helluva lot of sense, mind you with the NEWCO slanted apologists that we get in the rags every day, that might not be saying a lot. He appears to differ from the mainstream view in that he feels appeasing sevco is a price worth paying for league change. That aside he's forward thinking and I believe speaks for most of us. His team try to play football on the deck and he gives youth a chance. I'm all for guys like him and MacNamara who are pragmatic and modern type of young manager. Aye, he has talked reasonably about the Sons of William, but that doesn't make him any less of a dobber. Can we revisit this on Saturday night after we have cut his team a new one and he comes out with some of his usual pish? Will you still be in the Elvis fan club then?
