Hate to get on a player's back with the way the team is currently playing but Fox needs to improve his attention to the game, another clanger by the sounds of it.

Sounds like it. Fox should not be chipped from 35-40 yards.

Not bothered about being papped out this cup to be honest. The money would have been nice, but we don't really have a big enough squad to cope with all these games and it probably gives us added motivation to turn them over in the return on Saturday.

We're still missing our natural cover for Murray in Rowson, but regardless of that how does this game show a lack of depth in the squad? It was a full strength team except for one that couldn't get the job done tonight. It does happen from time to time. Onwards and upwards.

The subs created SFA!

Ive been saying it for a few weeks now but tonight just emphasises to me the need for a better back up keeper than scully. Fox knows hes not going to get dropped for him. There must be better keepers than scully out there who would be happy to join a decent looking first division team even knowing they will be most probably a number 2

IF we could only one of the 2 games vs Hamilton - which one is more important for the club. The league game or the cup game. Financially, I think Tuesdays game is more important as it could mean potentially a televised game against an SPL team and there still will be 32 games after Saturday.

Or we could be three points closer to winning the league and having several televised games against SPL opposition.

I'm with twinny - if playing against SPL teams is the goal, I'd much rather be playing against them every week than hoping for a one off game.

Many said that the true test of this team would be how they react to defeat. Let's start on Saturday by getting right behind the team and showing them how we as fans are going to react to defeat. Crowd was very patient and supportive against Dumbarton, let's make sure our next run of wins starts on Saturday.

Diss pointed tonight-game should have been won by half time but for poor finishing and great saves by Cuthbert-2nd half apart from one good header at a corner we were anonymus. Fox to blame for the goal, we were sucked into Acciwes game plan in 2nd half and had no answers. Must improve for Saturday which will be a difficult but winnable match for Jags. By the way great Jags support tonight. On to Saturday let's boss the Accies.

Nonsense - it was a great strike right in the top corner. Fox was probably where he should have been, most keepers would have struggled. Even the guys on radio had no blame to Fox.

Craigen and Elliot much more culpable - offered nothing when they came on. The lack of movement up front meant we had to resort to the long ball.

Thought O'Donnell was outstanding.

We should have been a couple up at least at half time, played some lovely stuff and it looked like the goals were coming at some point. Didn't have a great start to the second half and once Lawless and Erskine went off we were totally devoid of idea and reverted to pishy long ball stuff. Hamilton were terrible, utterly mince, the only real chance they had was when somehow their guy found himself through on goals in acres of space and hit one of the most spectacularly shite shots you could imagine. Their goal wasn't from a real chance, was hard to tell how it happened, guy chipped the ball and as soon as your eyes moved to Fox it was clear he wasn;t getting back but it wasn't really a goalkeeping howler, just very unfortunate.

A game I couldn't see us losing and one we didn't deserve to lose. If anything Billy Reid brought us down to his boring level.
