The Sunnylaw Jag
Something else being sold to do with Blackpool. This is a friendly programme from 1968. Was anybody there who recalls this? Bizarrely there is a second copy also recently listed on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACKPOOL-v-PARTICK-THISTLE-19689-PRESEASON-FRIENDLY-JULY-29th-/121228504315
Blackpool Jags
Something else being sold to do with Blackpool. This is a friendly programme from 1968. Was anybody there who recalls this? Bizarrely there is a second copy also recently listed on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACKPOOL-v-PARTICK-THISTLE-19689-PRESEASON-FRIENDLY-JULY-29th-/121228504315 No, but always been curious if anybody out there still has a programme from the 1971 pre-season friendly at Crystal Palace where we (unfortunately) lost 2-0. I was lucky enough to have been there, and bought a programme but lost it a few years back. A tremendous experience for this then 13 year-old: went to London on the North West bus on the Friday night, stayed at my dad's - who was working there at the time - and travelled back on the Sunday. The old North West bus - the greatest supporters bus in the history of buses.

Blackpool Jags
The old Whiteinch bus crewe begs to differ…. In all fairness, I went on the NW bus to Arbroath in the 70/71 season unaware that it was staying there overnight. Ma maw widda killed me, but the very kind gentlemen who ran the Whiteinch bus not only let me and my wee pal travel back with them at no extra cost, but they dropped us off on Maryhill Rd about 100 yards from my house. Hats off to them.
Jaggernaut
Noticed this one tonight - an unusual item that makes you wonder how they got a hold of it. http://www.ebay.co.u...1-/111227356503 £102+ !!
The Sunnylaw Jag
Yeah, I know. There is a Jags fan out there with some serious dough. I just hope he's joined easyfundraising and a percentage of the £102 went to the Jags.
davemains
I actually quite like the scarf and the wean will still be getting it for xmas. Disappointed however that it wasn't wool as described + is different from the scarf shown in the ebay pic. Would have happily paid more for a better quality one but as Ian has pointed out this is sadly unlikely to happen due to the numbers required. Hi mate; I hadn't noticed this post till someone pointed it out. Have had other stuff to deal with so hadn't been on the forum. More than happy to refund if you're not happy with it. Our first batch didn't have that sticker on them; for some reason the second batch has and I didn't notice .... re: the "wool" remark - Entirely my fault, I was trying to describe the type of scarf (it's a woolly scarf, not a printed one) - not claiming it's made of wool! - have changed the listing ... send me a message via here or ebay
Jaggernaut
This looks like a potential bargain for somebody who doesn't have the official history book: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Partick-Thistle-Official-History-1876-2002-Hardback-Book-Scottish-Football-/221328448195?pt=Non_Fiction&hash=item3388341ac3
The Sunnylaw Jag
I remember going to this but not much else, I was only ten at the time. Obviously part of the Alex Forsyth transfer deal. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5111973-Partick-Thistle-v-Manchester-United-Donnie-McKinnon-Testimonial-/380792412971

Obviously part of the Alex Forsyth transfer deal. http://www.ebay.co.u...l-/380792412971 I doubt if it was related to the Forsyth transfer, but maybe somebody will know. I just remember the score (lost 3-0) and the likes of Best & Charlton playing
The Sunnylaw Jag
No, but will look forward to reading more about it. Just bought it. Is there any chance of a finder's fee?
Jaggernaut
Is there any chance of a finder's fee? An extra 50-50 ticket will be bought on your behalf on Saturday. If it's a winner, it's 50-50 you and me. So in other words, no chance.
