ThickAsThieves
Today's League Cup final day. Not Jags related sadly, but will you be watching and are you behind one team more than the other? I'm wanting a bit of a good win for Aberdeen, to be honest. We're away to Inverness next so hopefully they'd be deflated and we'd have a better chance at winning. Killie are away to Aberdeen next weekend so again, if the Dons are delighted, Killie could find it tough. But I'm hoping for a decent game first and foremost..... jags on tour
I'll watch it but not too bothered who wins. I think Aberdeen will win it by a few goals, maybe 2 or 3-0.
Bishopbriggs jag
Aberdeen for me. Good team, what a season it would be for them if they got the league cup and Scottish cup
Charlie Endell
Aberdeen are 10/11 - tempting...
twinny
I genuinely had no idea it was the league cup final today. Wondered why there were so few league matches this weekend.
Milo
I'll be watching this in the pub. I want Aberdeen to win, mainly because it will really annoy all the Rangers fans that will be in my local. Petty-minded or what? As Harold Wilson once said of Tony Benn, "He's actually immaturing with age!".
The Earl of Hathaway
Inverness leading 2 - 0 until 2 injury-time goals from Aberdeen take it to extra-time, then Inverness lead 3 -2 until a dodgy penalty to the Dons in the 120th minute takes it to penalties for 9 - man Inverness (two straight reds for having Hughes as a manager) . 20 - 30 penalties with Aberdeen finally prevailing as Billy Mackay starts crying while trying to take the 31st penalty with a sprained coccyx caused by falling over anything and everything. Hughes goes ballistic and challenges everyone at Shellik Park to a square go.
ian_mac
Would be great for the Scottish game if Aberdeen can challenge the OF. They are the only team at the moment with the potential to do so. So I'm backing them for the double.

Albert's Ghost
ET - horrible for the viewer, but good news for the real Jags, especially as the fake ones have to play again in midweek.
peagreenboy
GET BACK TAE YER SHINTY AND YER SHEEP S**GINN', YA BUNCH OF CLOGGERS Oh, if only a football team like Thistle could get to a final ...
ThickAsThieves
Can't help feel a bit sorry for them but suits us a little for next week. 120 mins and a midweek match to follow for ICT...
Albert's Ghost
Utterly shee-ite game, but I have to say a masterclass in penalties from the more easterly sheep-worriers. No sympathy from me.

Sinistar
Obviously pleased as it will hopefully benefit us next week, but have a wee bit of sympathy, especially for their younger fans - will never forget the awful feeling after the Ramsdens Final walking back to the coach and hearing the cheers ringing in the background when the cup was being presented. H Wragg
Aberdeen are 10/11 - tempting... I assume the 10/11 was over 90 mins? Hope you weren't too tempted!
Lindau
Would be great for the Scottish game if Aberdeen can challenge the OF. Could be argued that the old firm is Thistle and Celtic Thistle est 1876 Celtic est 1888 Sevco est 2012
