I think we hear that too often... I wasn’t at the game but surely we need to be mentally tougher and show some bloody resilience and grind out results. The fact is 0 points from two games against teams around us where we were leading. Ross C for all they are crap right now will know we are susceptible and just a little bit “soft”

I wasn’t at the game today so interested to hear from folk who were... given we arguably have the best squad on paper since coming up to the SPL and given most of the injured players are back , and we can sometimes dominate long periods of games ..... today Hamilton lost 3 defenders during the course of the game and yet our only goal comes from a penalty .... we appear to lack any bottle whatsoever... the radio said Ross C were rank today but they’ll probably be more up for it next week than us! Zero points from two must win games and both from leading positions.

It feels like a new arrival.... Eliiot starts for the U20s today, as does Fraser who starts his second game for the U20 in just over a week

Disappointing to lose a late equaliser but a couple of weeks ago would have bitten your hand off for 4 points in the last 2 away games. 3 points on Tuesday would more than make up for any disappointment today. It has to happen sometime.....

Be surprised if we signed anyone else this window. Maybe the focus will be on offering deals for some of the (several?) players out of contract at the end of the season, including a deal for Sammon. A few still need to prove their fitness though. Getting more money for Lindsay would obviously help.

How many much would we reckon on getting income wise for a crowd of 25k?

Don’t think either Muzzy or Fraser will be released unless he can find better replacements in an always tough January market. We don’t know whether Osman, Bannigan or even Woods will be able to play week in, week out, come February, plus we don’t have cover for McGinn if he gets a knock or suspension (assuming Milan goes). Also McCarthy hasn’t been injury free in his short career to date. We cannot be sure of the fitness levels that Booth and Elliot will achieve either. Archie did say that one or two have popped up on the radar but unclear whether that is previously identified players or someone new. Maybe the likes of Nisbett will go out on loan. Who knows, not me anyway.

Thought Barton was very good today, won just about everything in the air and was quite composed. Great pass from McCarthy for the second goal and good pace and composed finish from Sammon.

We’re going to be on the receiving end of today’s result unfortunately...

He’s probably still got some goodwill with the board, not because of any “legend” status, rather because he’s kept us in the SPL longer than most of us thought likely... 4 or 6 points against Hamilton and Ross C he’s safe. 3 maybe. 1or zero he’s gone. Assuming zero against Celtic and Aberdeen.

Why would Jack Ross leave St M to join us?

If the gap between us and 11th widens this month, and with the returning injured players needing game time to get up to speed that puts us into February because of the winter break, Archie may ask for funds for the January transfer window.. but IF we already have the most expensive squad to date will they trust him to spend the money wisely? He undoubtedly has goodwill with the board but he must be using some of that up now. 3 points on Wednesday however unlikely that may be right now would give him and the board some breathing space.

Spot on. I’m in my 48th season and have seen some real dross! For as late long as Archie keeps us in the league the board will want to keep him.
