I agree with this. Why take a chance on some other clubs player and give him good experience, when he's not proven himself any more tha our own? Arguably, banning an is more qualified than him anyway, having played for Ayr last season and also having beaten hibs in the process. Not impressed and it's starting to wear thin (rubbish loans of the past few years, not just jackie's).

Supporting thistle is gettin less like supporting a football club with every year. There's no goals, no songs, no rivalry, no anticipation of a signing. It's seriously becoming a waste of energy and im really sad to say it.

Game ARE meaningless for thistle just now. I mean, I've seen queen of the south, Livingston and Falkirk more times than people I know who support these sides! A division that is potentially one up one down is horrific. Sfl 1 games are notoriously low scoring, and thistle are one of the worst sides for this. Quite a high proportion of games have next to nothing happen in them. You could not go to see thistle for a whole year from now and not miss anything worth remembering in 3 years time. About half of the songs that were sung during 2000-2003 (our last decent spell) have seemingly been lost in time. Take the firhill dance and the auld lang syne adaption for example. The club is next to dead. This is the sad truth.

We still had average crowds of 2500 five years ago. The real drop off came last season when we dropped 500 to 2000 in one season. I think we'll be about 2000 for the season again this year, although we're at 2500 right now. We'll have a few rubbish attendances from now cos there's nothin to play for.

I've Got a mate who is always telling me how I'm wrong about my opinions on teams and players. He doesn't watch any teams live and doesn't watch games on tv - becoming pretty apparent his opinions come from FM. Sad as ****.

Elliot is fast and strong, and is only 19. He's also scored more goals than Stewart who just doesn't look like scoring ever again. Stewart is athletic enough to be an ok sub and back up player, but only if he's cheap and players like Fraser and McGrotty are given their chances ahead of him. He's proven he's not good enough to be 1st choice, they have not.

Aaron Sinclair is definitely good enough to play on the Premiership one day. Those times he did those amazing performances were amazing. He's been really unlucky not to have scored 20 goals at least this season and I don't know how we've conceded as Many as we have with him playing. We shouldn't let him go as he's the linchpin of our team. However, if we do let him go it should be ASAP - so we can all get over the Loss sooner - and only for at least 500,000...

There aren't any must attend games when you're mid-table in sfl1. We don't even have any rivals in the division anymore, with airdrie and clyde flagging. About as boring as its ever been to support thistle, and that's saying something.

I would rather take a chance on McGrotty and Macbeth than hold on to Tommy Stewart when know what we're getting - 4 goals a season and little impact on games.

I don't think it looks like Archie's head that makes contact. He shoulder barges him it looks like. Don't know how Archie got the Lump on his head from that, but the end doesn't necessarily explain the means. Also, if you watch the timing carefully, the ref actually misses it and only turns his head just after the contact. I was ready to concede it was Archie's fault, but after seeing that Im not so sure.
