  1. Rangers have decided that most Rangers fans will not buy a Jersey with Celik on it, so they are calling him by his first name,Mervan I can see the adverts from him on the tele "I'm Mervan Freemason"!!
  2. In to-days Sun -Sinky could be on his way to Leeds.Watched by Leeds technical director on Friday night
  3. The last thing we want is Rangers to go bust.Where do you think their fans will go to see a game
  4. I think the heavier grounds has affected the form of our younger players.
  5. Well done Jackie. The best manager we have had for many a year.
  6. Jordan scored FIVE for Huddersfield to-night away to Wycombe Wanderers.Should he go straight into theScotland side?
  7. Seen Naismith playing for the beath against Boness in the cup.Tall fast tricky winger, but against modest opposition.Find this signing suprising as we have O'donnell who can play here, especiallly if Cole comes in at right back
  8. Over 60 thousand at the game, lashing rain, blowing a gale.Who the heck invented covered enclosures!
  9. Monday night's guest was Jim Goodwin of St Mirren, who is serving a Two match ban for punching a Motherwell player. On showing the incident,Rob Maclean the presenter, thought it was quite funny saying "Do you not wish you had punched him harder since you have got a 2 match ban for it.It suprised me that the BBC picked a guest to comment on the football who is suspended due to voilent conduct.
  10. I guess that if you went through the results of most Scottish clubs you will find a freak result, two come into mind Berwick Rangers against Glasgow Rangers and Celtic v Inverness and both of them got beat! I dont know if any of you noticed the betting last week.Culter were as low as 7 to 1 to win, yet you could get 12 to 1 St Johnstone at Ibrox
  11. Jackie was on the rdio during the week saying his preferred way of playing is 4-3-3 but he does not have the players at Firhill at this moment to play it
  12. Colin Samuels is back in Scotland looking for a club.He is keeping himself warm at Livi
  13. Celtic have got "The Green Brigade" we now have "The Angry Brigade"
  14. Paton is so one footed he must be a cert for a Scotland call-up.Watching Friday's nights game I have never seen so many players unable to use their "other foot" and these are guys that have played at the top level for many years.
  15. Was there not a report in a paper recently saying the Warriors were just moving training & office base to Scotstoun and would continue to play at firhill?
  16. Next time you could consider taking the train to Falkirk and then bus from Falkirk to the ground.Thats if you dont mind sitting on a bus for 90 mins!
  17. Just on Telly, a team in Turkey due to trouble were given the penalty that, rather than play the game behind closed doors, it would be open to women and children only and over 41,000 turned up.Women going to football is a market that I think the "Jags" could tap into. Maybe we could get sponsors for free entry for a couple of games for the girls, although this may mean a few drag artists making their way up Firhill road!
  18. Thanks for the info re poorest area.I was informed that it was the late Donald Dewar's constituency Garscadden and as I was born and brought up there, I was sure he was wrong.
  19. Sorry if this is slightly off topic but does any of you political guys know which constituency in Glasgow ie rated the poorest. Also I was told that the late Mr Donald Dewar amassed a private art collection worth millions.I was in contact with some of his closest friends a few days ago and they said they had never heard of it.Does anyone know?
  20. Getting a bit old and the memory is going and I am not really into Thistle politics but I would like to ask a couple of questions to the Trust. Alan says the Trust is only accountable to its members, which is probably right. So my first Question is When after "Save the Jags",the Club gave the fans [in appreaciation for all the fundraising and hard work]a block of shares, the shares were placed in the hands of a newly formed trust to be custonians of the said shares.Who OWNS the shares is it the Jags Trust or is it ALL the fans? My second question is How much money has the Trust raised and handed over to the club in the last year? Thanks
  21. To-days Sun [Thursday] has a full page on the three young Rangers players going out on loan[Hutton Fleck and Karl Naismith]reporting that they were quized by the police in a dirty money probe. No charges are being brought against the players.Police spoke to them as they had been seen in the company of a suspect under investigation.Less than a year ago Naismith and Hutton were abducted by thugs who threatened to kill them.
  22. Billy Dodds said on the radio that Fox dropped the ball and Mensing put it in from 4 yards
