A bit off topic but does anyone think the club has maybe missed a trick not selling morton tickets at yesterdays game? With both teams going well id expect there to be between 4-5000 at the game. I can see there being huge queues at the ticket booth and lots of people missing kick off. People could have bought tickets as an xmas gift and also, should the game be postponed for any reason , there would be a " decent " crowd guarenteed at the rearranged date as people who maybe pick and choose their games.would defo go if they already had bought their ticket. Just a thought....

Does anyone know if that stat that the player on the front cover of the programme has always started the game is still ongoing? Pretty sure it was quite a number of games it had/has been running for. Reason i ask is it looks like itll probably come to an end tomorrow with McGuigan on the front cover. Got a weefeling jackie will go with Craig over Doolan tomorrow.

If rangers have refused their allocation the surely they can have no say in the pricing structure? United should make it a pound to get in and generate just enough to cover police/stewarding costs . This would make rangers look pretty stupid especially if they got pumped

Ok contacted maxi and he in turn contacted someone at accies. They say 6 turnstiles ( as usual ) will be open on friday and they have been advised to expect 1200-1500 jags fans. Cant say ive ever seen 6 turnstiles open myself . Probs 6 in total but only 2 adult gates ....

Maybe someone who has twitter could contact maxi asking him to be in contact with accies regarding the big travelling support and the number of turnstiles used?

The crowd yesterday was a lot higher than I, and i would imagine most other fans, would/could have imagined. People brought friends and family along and hopefully quite a few lapsed fans came back as well. I brought my mum to the game and she loved it. Now, wouldnt it be great if we could get these friends, family and lapsed fans down to Hamilton on Friday as well. Why not fill the stand behind the goal? Would be great for the team to run out to a full away stand showing them our support. Lets turn it into a home game and sing from the first whistle. So, how many do we think we can take 1000+?

The only bit concerning me about our team is in goals. Fox is good but Scully is a bombscare. Its almost a guarentee that jackie will try to get the boy smith in during the week but looking at his performances for dunfermline last year im not convinced hes the answer. Just hope Fox isnt out for too long...

Granted getting hooked on both can be very pricey. However as a one off or on a weekend where maybe the jags are away and you dont intend to go then id highly recommend it Also for anyone who is thinking " why would i want to go to ice hockey " i had never even watched a game on tele before the first time i went

Dont know if anyone else on here ever goes to watch the hockey at braehead but if you have ever thought about it but never got round to it or even just looking for something to do this weekend then i suggest you get to one of the games on either friday or saturday night. Not only is it a cracking night out where you can drink during the game but the clan have also just signed former stanley cup winner and current nhl player Drew Miller due to the lockout in usa/canada. This is , in football terms , like a messi or ronaldo signing for thistle. Guys i cant recommend it enough. As i said its a great night out with the bonus of one of the best players in the world playing for our glasgow team. Hopefully some of you get along and get hooked like i did and add to our ever growing fan base
