Had my doubts when we signed Scott, because he had not played for more than 6 months. I was wrong, he played a major part in Thistle staying in the Championship. At the POTY night he could not have been nicer, and spent 5 minutes talking to Eunice and myself and getting the above photo's taken. Pity he didn't decide to stay with us. All the best Scott in the future.

All gate receipts for league games go to the home team. Cup games are different, I think it is a 60%/40% split in favour of the home team.

Season 2018/19 never went the way we wanted it to go before the season started, but thankfully it didn't end the way a lot of us feared. The pro and anti Caldwell camps put up a lot of reasonable arguments to support their particular stance, but there was also some over the top and uncalled for posts as well. Lets hope everybody to do with Thistle, from management, players and fans have a good summer and come back refreshed and ready for the challenge that season 2019/20 will be. I will be renewing mine as I have done for more seasons than I care to remember.

Most football fans take football to seriously, but life throws up situations that put it into perspective. There is nothing worse than losing a child so although I don't do Twitter, Facebook etc. My thoughts are very much with her.

Best home game, the game against Alloa a few weeks ago. A goal down early on and didn't play well in the first half. 2Half time subs by us and changed the game. A very important win for us.McDonald's free kick winner in that game was not a bad goal. Best goal that never was,only one contender, Doolan v Morton.

Next season will be a big season for Caldwell as the team we start with will be his team. No excuse of having to make do with the previous managers players until the next transfer window. Lets hope he gets it right and we are up at the top end of the league challenging.

I would not be surprised to see Archie at QOS or Morton, next season.

Well last Jag standing is Rid Skwerr who finishes with 1 life. He is the winner of Shea Gordon's top. Congratulations to him and a big thank you to everybody who entered the competition.

Great result. Sounded as if we were quite comfortable. Well done to the management , players and of course the fans.

There is no doubt in my mind he will be our manager next season. Up to Christmas I wanted him out because of the bull he came out with and more importantly an average of 1/2 point per game. Since January we have averaged 1.65 points per game so a big improvement, we still get the bull but if he puts a winning team on the park I can put up with that. I think I have read he is on a 2 year rolling contract, so see how the next 6months or so pan out.

Just heard the team bus has returned to Firhill. Caldwell had left some envelopes in his office and wasn't sure what team to play.

Is it not the managers job to motivate the players? Not that they should need much motivation for a game like Saturday's.
