  1. Would agree with that. Also, Ziggy Gordon has been immense for us this season.
  2. Since you are starved of live football at the moment you could worse than follow Western Sydney Wanderers, who feature Graham Dorrans and Ziggy Gordon. Kenny Miller is assistant coach. Highlights here https://www.a-league.com.au/video/macarthur-fc-v-western-sydney-wanderers-match-highlights-a-league of their latest game, including a great goal from Dorrans.
  3. Yeah, you would have. Thanks for the help re the streaming.
  4. Ausjag, what are you watching this on?
  5. Ausjag, where are you watching this? I'm in NSW.
  6. I'll do my doggone best to watch that game.
  7. Echoing the nomad theme. There is nowhere else that one can stay as well connected to Thistle. I would be bereft if the forum were to die.
  8. ...for my son's band's new single. Available for download at all good online record shops! https://soundcloud.com/the-maze-1/evil-sucker
  9. Just like to add my thanks for all the efforts of the people who make this forum possible. I don't post often, but as a Nomad I use it as the best way to keep up with all things Thistle.
  10. Early plane home for the English and the Aussies, methinks.........
  11. It's the only time I watch Rugby League, and I enjoyed last night's victory. Some game when you can land four punches, stay on the field and receive a one match suspension!
  12. I had wondered where he had gone. I worry about that fellow sometimes.
  13. Not just me, then...............
  14. Just watched. Looked brilliant. Made me homesick, despite the rain. What happened to the guy who joined in the celebrations after the first goal? Hope he didn't get ejected. My son remarked that only at Firhill could you do that and then jump back into the Shed before a steward got to you!
  15. Whatever happened to John Collins? Knowledge, ability............and some experience.
  16. All very confusing. According to this http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18496571 Rangers get to vote on whether they should be allowed back into the SPL! Is this the case? I find it hard to believe that it would be, but there is little in this saga that hasn't surprised me.
  17. Saw one recently in New York. In a vaguely Hienz style font it said "Touretti Spaghetti". Underneath, in a plainer, smaller font was "pasta in a tomato and fckn cheese sauce".
  18. Maybe winning the league is a bit of a stretch, but, as has been pointed out elsewhere on this forum, promotion may be on the cards. If a Rangers youth team are languishing in the basement of the SPL come Christmas, then I imagine league reconstruction will suddenly become a matter of serious debate. We've been shafted by rule changes in the past: maybe this time we will benefit.
  19. Back in Glasgow, first visit to Firhill, utterly stoked. Praying for a Thistle win!
  20. I would certainly be interested in this. I would add that for us in the antipodes, there would probably need to be the option of watching a bit later, since live games usually take place when we are sleeping off the excess of Saturday night!
  21. Dear God, I can't believe I'm reading this. DP, JA, just rock up and offer your services. That seems to be what everyone else has done. I don't think you will be turned down, but I don't think anyone will get a personal invitation. And I have never met JJ, but I know how much he has done for the club. I don't think he is brusque, I just think he has a cavalier attitude to punctuation, and I don't intend that as a criticism.
  22. Would love it if this were true. Where is this being reported?
