Balatoni made it clear early doors that once his contract finished he would try and move elsewhere and want a different experience in his career and talk was about him moving abroad. Fair play to the guy. He showed ambition and had a couple of trials down south that didnt work out for him. I personally think Thistle is his level and would be delighted to welcome him back after he gave so much in the promotion winning season and keeping us in the premiership for 2 seasons. At least he didnt come out and say he wanted to win caps for Scotland then go and sign for Ross County....

No matter the fee I would hope we have a sell on clause and if he makes another move especially a big move that we get a percentage of that fee. If you look at John stones down south and he was signed for 3mil but they have a 15% sell on clause. Not for a minute am I thinking Hendry will be worth 30mil + but even if we could get another few hundred thousand a couple of seasons down the line then it could make a massive difference to that season.

Very surprised at that. Seems a decent player and they paid 150k for him only a few months ago. Now an attacking mid in and a full back and hopefully we can turn our season around!

Dont want to start a new thread re the north stand as I was just wondering how old you need to be to get into the North stand? Was thinking of taking my daughter to the game and I knew it used to be only over 16 but has that changed as I have seen younger people over the last season or so? The only way to describe that was a shambles. I think we could have played until Saturday and still not scored let alone have a shot on target. Every player should be taking a long hard look at themselves. They didn't even seem the least bit bothered that they were getting beat. There was no fight, no composure and no leader on the park. So many times the ball was with the defence and nobody was looking for the pass and not making any sort of movement. Don't know how many times seabiscuit played a long cross field ball to nobody. The second half at least we had someone to hit but again still didn't work. I'm struggling to think who would get pass marks tonight. Cerny, Hendry? That's the only ones that I can think of. Stevo looks unfit and uninterested and really can't see what he offers to the team. Only issue is that we have no one else to fill his space. Massive improvement needed for the weekend and over the next few games or we could find ourselves in trouble. Let's just hope we can get a shot on target on Saturday and that will be an improvement on the last two games!

First 30 minutes we were outstanding and if we were 3 up i dont think the killie fans could have complained. Really needed that second goal but just didnt come. A bit niave of our players when we gave away the free kick. Either take the ball with you or get someone to stand in front of the ball so that the team can reorganise. Killie started the second half better and very poor from Lindsay not to boot the ball into the stand which led to him getting sent off. The team responded brilliantly to going down to ten and a great composed finish from doolan to go 2-1 up. Disappointed to lose the late goal but was a decent header from boyd and the only place just outwith the reach of cerny. Would have took a point after going down to 10 with so long of the game remaining so lots of positives to take from the game. Lindsay will learn from his mistake and hopefully he wont get caught like that again but thats always a possibility when your a defender. Special mention for doolan who was brilliant today and a great response for being dropped for the celtic game. If only we had started with him against celtic who knows what would have happened!!

When I heard the team on the radio I honestly felt like turning the car around and going back home. That was dreadful. I know we should never expect to pick up anything from Celtic however to play with no attacking aim whatsoever is an embarrasement. What doea archie see that every other thistle fan doesnt?! Surely it has been proven time and time again that stevenson is not a striker. Its like stepping back a year ago saying that! Thought the first 30 mins we were along them to much time on the ball and allowing to pass it around at their leisure. It was only really a matter of time before they scored. Miller looks a very poor signing. As slow as a week in the jail and doesnt look at all comfertable on the ball nor in defence. He should have went right throught the ball (and izagirre) for the first goal when the ball was on the wing however chose to sh*t out it and then we are 1-0 down. Wilson looked lost all day. Couldnt pass a simple ball and just wanted rid of it as soon as he got it. Not seen anything to think he can make it and how he managed to last 90 mins il never know i can only assume lawless was injured. Pogba looks a decent find however I feel he will be a frustrating player but good to see someone out the opposing central defenders. The two central defendera looked decent. A couple of stray passes but nothing major. Really need to try get at least one win over the next two games.

Supposedly Bradley wickham going to play for us. Unknown if this is signing or on a trial. Defender and ex Cardiff city though looks like it was for the under 19s.

I think that the lack of signings and losing some of our best players has affected the season ticket sales. I know that a lot of our buys have been from down south and they are on longer contracts etc but I would like to think if they made a couple of "marquee" signings (taylor or a Stevenson kind of transfer) then a few more tickets will be sold. Again as has been said before unless we know how many have been sold at this point in previous seasons then it's hard to gauge how good or bad the figure is.

The team didnt turn up yesterday. They got beat 4-1 off a team that had lost 7 in a row. Are u surprised?

Thought the second half we were magnificent. Every single player was brilliant expect foxy who sat on a deck chair and smoked a cigar! But have to say special mention for taylor and balatoni. Taylor held the ball up brilliantly (the thing I feel doolan lacks) and showed great pace getting in behind the defence. Balatoni won absolutely everything and mcdonald and Sutton had no chance. Great to see the whole stand including the JHS joining in and the players at the end showing the passion that the fans show. I will admit a few months ago I was one of the people that was sure that Archie would get us relegated and I am glad to say that I was wrong. He has definetly learned from mistakes he made in the past and the defence looks solid and we are scoring from set pieces. Archie I will one again let U shag my wife!! 'Mon the jags!

Great first 20 minutes and deserved to be 2 up if not more. Game went a wee bit scrappy after that and st j missed a sitter at the end of the half. How they didn't score I don't know! Every player worked hard and done the not so pretty stuff very well. They never really threatened in the second half and once the third went in it was very comfortable (not said that often with thistle!) Great work for all the team and banzo deserved MOM. Balatoni was brilliant at the back and great to see him on the score sheet. Hopefully we can take this performance into next week. But it's thistle so you never know!!

I have been a critic of Archie and was one of the ones saying he should walk away after last week. I am pleased to say that today he got everything spot on to the personel he selected and also to the way he set the team up. so credit to him as I slated him when he got it wrong last week but will praise him when he got it right this week. Hopefully he can learn from the mistakes he makes and we can get another few victories in the coming weeks to cemente our place in this league. Great performance from the team and staff today.

I see ciftci has been issued with a 2 match ban and has until Friday to accept it. If he accepts it then he will be suspended for Saturday's game. I'm guessing if he fails to accept it he will be available.

I see Pressley has left Coventry. Weather or not we could afford him is another matter but I would like to see him in. At least he has a rough idea about being a manager.
