  1. 7 points from 10 home games this season. Utterly woeful even before Ayr turn up and hand out the standard TV gubbing.
  2. Certainly an improvement in the head hair follicle average.
  3. Must have been a lucrative evening all in : 9300 crowd, hospitality and TV cash.
  4. I could only get Erskine I'm afraid. Looks like the TV for me then.
  5. A classic design from when I first went to Firhill. Plus always preferred red shorts to black.
  6. That would be ideal. The grind of the Premier League certainly wore me down. I can barely remember a decent match since the first season back. Even the Top 6 season was pretty forgettable entertainment wise.
  7. Colin West - was tremendous, so much so he got the call back to the Bridge. Scored in his first game back as well if I remember correctly.
  8. Club car towed away while he was in the house. I still chuckle when imagining his enraged baw face.
  9. Similar to Team of the Decade ( not necessarily the best but the reaction to it ) Higginbotham v. Hearts ( I doubt I will celebrate a goal with such gusto again ) Craigen v. Morton ATS v. Kilmarnock ( just before the Hearts game ) Doolan v. QoS ( then sat down and realised it was another 30 mins to sit through ) ETA O'Donnell v. Dunfermline
  10. Higginbotham not even on the bench? Superb player who for some reason ended up a journeyman ( last heard of in India ). Usually I can barely remember what happened at the match the next day but can still visualise the goal v. Hearts as clear as day.
  11. Dare I whisper it, 2 points off play off ..
  12. Cerny O’Donnell Seabourne Lindsay ATS Higginbotham Osman Barton Erskine Taylor Doolan All at their best top six every season easy. At their worst horrendous - perfect PTFC XI
  13. Cappielow width is 71 yards / 65 meters.
  14. Both recently bailed out of East Dunbartonshire.
  15. A continuous comedy of errors from QoS for about 30 seconds straight at the second.
  16. The quotes from his wife at the time just illustrate what a poor show this is: "When David's health was getting worse, I told him about the club naming the training ground after him. He understood what was happening and that was a comfort for me. "When Gerry Britton (Thistle's chief executive) came to us with the idea, we were happy. "The fact David is now buried across the road from where the new training ground will be is almost as if he will be able to keep watch on it all."
  17. Superb - I've not seen many pictures of Firhill pre-shed. When was the roof put up?
  18. You know it's bad when the post match interviews are free to view.
  19. It wasn't that along ago there was a core squad of around 10 dependable Premiership standard players all signed on 2/3 year contracts. Incomparable with the current ragtag squad ( no doubt assembled at a fair cost ) ...
  20. Numerous Quarter Finals of late - always potential winnable matches to be had but sh1t draws every time. Infuriating
