Solid performance but agree with previous comments that we should have created more. Good to be 1st team into next round and a good turnout. A bit worried at the lack of depth on the bench which could be a problem if suspensions and injuries occur. Believe Osman is out for Dundee next week.

Was confident from about 20 to go we would get at least a draw. (Was more nervous sitting at Killie a few weeks ago that we would lose from being 3 up with 15 mins left!!). Played well as a team today but just needed a wee bit more up front. Good to see Archie putting on Pogba and looking for the win even if it didn't go to plan. Agree with other comments that more important to get results from teams around us. Proud of the team and the support today - at least there were some fans to create a bit of an atmosphere!!!

Re the penalty claims. I didn't think either were penalties yesterday and after watching the highlights I haven't changed my mind. Thought Irvine in particular tried to con the ref. This got me thinking that it has been a long time since we were awarded a penalty. While I have some vague recollection of Higgy getting booked for diving, I don't recall too many recent incidents of Thistle players 'trying to win' a penalty. I don't like the view of most pundits that if there is contact then players are 'entitled' to go down but most other teams seem to. Are we penalising ourselves?

Great win today. Previous posts highlighted contributions from certain individuals but I thought he result today was a result of a great team effort. There were a few individual mistakes (especially in the first half) but everyone put in a shift and played for each other. Good to see we now seem able to hold on to a lead an win ugly.

Home to County and St Johnstone are the sort of games we should be going all out to win. 6 points would be a great boost as it may be tough to get anything from the next two.

Don't have a season ticket but the wee man has an under 16 season ticket so he got one. He's over the moon. Fantastic

Kris Doolan should be in now!!! Although I think under the rules we will have to wait until he stops playing. At 29 hopefully he will play for us for a few more seasons before being inducted.

Think Utd are getting better under Mixu and they are probably due a result. Hoping it won't be on Saturday but I will take a draw.

Have been disappointed when a few players have left over the years - Erskine, ATS and O'Donnell being recent examples. Most frustrating was Erskine as he went to a rival club. Would be devastated if Dools were to leave but even more so if it was to one of our loss making rivals paying wages they can't afford. (like Gary Harkins)

Last minute decision to head down today. Wind, rain and plastic pitches don't usually make for good viewing. Would I have been pissed missing one of the best performances for a while! Confident performance and everyone wanting the ball. Banzo was superb!!

Haven't seen us win yet (missed United & Saints) so probably good that I can't be there for the Hearts game.

Best player on the park yesterday - by a mile. Great work rate, good brain (well football brain anyway) and decent skill. Thought he would have been a good signing when we were in the 1st division and have always rated him as a player.
