We dont havve McGuigan back at the earliest until December 5th, theres a month of football before then. Plus Craig could be suspended for a vital 3 games during this period. Furthermore when he left us he went to the Pars and scored a few vital goals for them on their way to the SPL, he is capable of scoring in this divison.

As previously said Craig was a moron to behave the way he did. Im surprised to hear he could miss out on 3 games or so. There was a guy in front of me commenting on how great Aaron SInclair is at going past opposition players and is really fast on the wing makes for brilliant football - he may be fast but I am sick to the back teeth of his crosses into the penalty area that are so often overhit they go out to the far touchline or they just go straight to their keeper. He seems to have constantly done this in all the time he has been here I thought he would have improved. Forbes goal was well taken, felt he and Paton were our best players. Christie Elliot can be fast when he comes on but really needs to improve on his goal scoring form. Given that Liam Buchanan can be signed just now on an amateur contract until January I think he perhaps would be a better player to come off the bench and additionally perhaps offer some competition to Craig and Elliot or in case any of them get injured. Although capable of missing chances Buchanan is capable of scoring as well and given that he knows half the players and the Manager would do no harm to see what he can do till January

As we get a third of the cup final gate I was confident the game would sell out well over 10000 and would have preferred a bigger stadium since obviously its more money. I am confident there both teams would sell out capacity of 10000 therefore it would have been in both teams interests to have it at a bigger staidum and get even more money

Yep a bit worrying. Another way to hopefully get these guys to stay on is to get attendances up and gives the club more money to offer these guys new contracts. I know your private life situation with your family a couple of years ago meant you couldnt get to many games. I hope everything has improved on that front mate and you have been able to get along and cheer on the Jags

I have a feeling that the powers that be want Sevco in the final and to win it provided they beat QOS. Reckon they will get Abroath at Ibrox whereas we will get Cowdenbeath who on paper will be far harder than Arbroath

Agree with this, should be a good signing. A couple of Morton fans on sour grapes on pie & bovril as he was on trial with them, fact is he us has obviously chosen us over the likes of Morton and Dumbarton, also possibly Dunfermline as well, has been training with us and will know Lawless well from Motherwell days, in fact quite a few Well fans seemed a bit annoyed that McCall had released him. Definetly a lot of potential with Forbes and I would hope if he does well we can sign him up on a far longer deal
