read'n'yell
http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/partick-thistle/308393-partick-thistle-new-boys-look-to-kick-start-their-careers-at-firhill/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Video on there with Booth and Finnie. Booth usual footballer not wanting to say he's after a longer term contract here, personally think he'd be doing well to get one and should be his target. Interesting Finnie said his decision was down to Archie giving young guys a chance. Good point actually and one Archie should listen to - in order to get the best young talent (like United are doing) the club needs to get a reputation for playing them as young as 18/19. Snowball effect, likes of Keenan and McDaid might not be 100% at the moment but if by playing them puts us ahead of other clubs when it comes to signing young players then it is something to consider.

billko
Is Finnie any good ? anyone seen him play ? Not seen him play but from what i have read he was developed at Accies until Rangers signed him last year He didn't play many games though and not many who watched his few outings rating the lad to be Scottish Premiership material, but development under the Rangers Head of Youth is always a bit hit and miss but he did like the athletic type of player in his teams which is apparently what Ryan is. At Thistle though he will get the chance to develop further and if good enough will get the chance of first team football which is something he wouldn't get at Ibrox. Good luck to him and a few commenting Thistle is a good move for the lad. Edited January 29, 2015 by billko
lady-isobel-barnett
Is Finnie any good ? anyone seen him play ? On Monday night. Seemed promising. Was directly up against Greg Wylde and kept him quiet.
Jaggernaut
That's a lovely jumper Ryan. Is his left hand photoshopped?
Paulo
I believe he actually has a claw for a left hand. Or the other theory, that it may have been moving when the pic was snapped.

kni
On Monday night. Seemed promising. Was directly up against Greg Wylde and kept him quiet. Finnie was at Accies with Fraser who may have influenced his decision to sign for us. Given Accies recent very good offers for Gordon and Hendrie, promising is the right word. Let's hope that he delivers that promise and we can keep him.

Perhaps we should introduce an Oath of Allegiance.
