Happy Birthday Archie

Many of us have had doubts on the darkest days. It's human nature.

He's a young manager. He was thrown into the deep end when McNamara left and he gave us the SFL Championship, in style. Since then, under his leadership, we have continued to grow and to achieve.

He has shown great strength and ability to turn it around from the very poor form early this season. There was even talk, back then, that he had lost the dressing room. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are seeing now that he gets the best from the players.

Of course there will be dark days but I, for one, will not doubt his ability to bring us through it.

Happy Birthday Boss.

I make it April 5th, 1997; 2-0 vs. East Fife. He wore the no. 14 shirt, so probably on as a sub.

I have a memory of him taking a free kick from about 25yrd towards the jags fans and thinking he must be a free kick specialist considering he had just come on.

Belted it over the bar, and most certainly wasn't a free kick specialist!

Answer is fair, I am sure.

I suspect you are a bit busy for poetry this week what with the new film and all that merchandising etc.!
