Jaggernaut
Three matches in Scotland yesterday ended up 7-0. I wonder if that is some kind of record.
jagfaelivi
Probably. And you could see from the outset that Gus Macpherson had set QP up to avoid a hammering. Makes sense from his point of view but made it quite boring for the supporters.

crazy davie
I heard some bloke put £1.40 on those games at correct score. Won £59,000...!!!!
jaggy
Allegedly. Probably a publicity stunt by the bookies
sandbank boy
Allegedly. Probably a publicity stunt by the bookies Nope, It was announced on BBC radio news last night. It is true.

jaggy
Nope, It was announced on BBC radio news last night. It is true. It was in the Daily Record as well, so does that mean it's true? Was the 'winner' announced anywhere, or just pictures of the winning bet?
Jaggernaut
It was in the Daily Record as well, so does that mean it's true? Was the 'winner' announced anywhere, or just pictures of the winning bet? Unless the winner is identified, I'll remain skeptical about this most unlikely bet. sandbank boy
Unless the winner is identified, I'll remain skeptical about this most unlikely bet. He has been: he is a Mr Steve Sales and he lives in Sutton where the bet was placed.
Jaggernaut
He has been: he is a Mr Steve Sales and he lives in Sutton where the bet was placed. Well, I'll need to accept it as fact now. I'm not a betting man, so can somebody please explain: How come £1.40 on a 276,000-1 bet pays out "only" £57,990 ? Graemei
I can't recall if this was the case or not but I think it was a permed patent so 28 bets in effect, so the £1.40 was probably covering multiple combinations or selections. lady-isobel-barnett
I notice BowenBoys hasn't posted for a wee while. I trust he's at this moment of time busy trying to interest the alliterative Steve (Seven) Sales of Sutton in a piece of Kris Doolan's Ton Up celebration.
