Paolo
See Jim got sacked by Morton, can we not offer him a post, maybe to replace Ian Maxwell, Â or move Gerry Britton to Maxy's post and give Jim the job to take charge of the youth academy. Weebaw1
I’ve always liked Duffy. He kept Morton performing above their weight. We could do worse if Archie is sacked if we get relegated

They have had the millionaire raes back the club and throw money at it for years- the aim was to make the playoffs and they failed. ton fans have been saying all season his tactics and team selection are awful
Charlie Endell
No, just no. Loved him as a Thistle player but will never forgive him for running on the pitch at Firhill when Dundee scored (when he was their manager) - absolutely nothing wrong with celebrating but his reaction was way over the top. Edited May 5, 2018 by Charlie Endell

Guest
Duffy was an outstanding player when he came to us after being told he'd never play again. When he went into management at first, falkirk and hibs, he looked a real prospect. But have to agree with auld jag and gre, no, no, no. His teams performance at morton was way too up and down, his tactics nieve from the outside looking in.  In his defence, the son of rae is trying to get out and finacially they are not in a good place and duff was having to deal with the bullyboy tactics of the easdales, a recipe for disaster but not for me either. Keep the memories of him as a thistle player in a box.

He's by most accounts an honourable chappie and if the Jags were a bigger club he'd be a good fit somewhere in our set up. It's a pity for him things have never really worked out as a front line manager but that's been the case for well over a decade, some would say even longer. Given his managerial history he must be rather good in interview situations but that's hardly a surprise as he near always comes across well. Auld Jag
It is possible he will be at Firhill tonight for radio Scotland as I have heard him on the radio in the past. But that is the only job I would want him to be doing at Firhill. Charlie Endell
He also knocked back the Thistle manager's job in 2003 - I'd forgotten about that. A Maryhill lad as well (going back to his one-man pitch invasion). Edited May 8, 2018 by Charlie Endell

Hankey
Duffy stabilised Morton, he also got Clyde to the play-offs despite financial constraints. He may not be a terrific manager, but hes adapted from the dinosaur reputation he had only a handful of years ago.
Fearchar
Has Archie learned and adapted?
