lady-isobel-barnett
Can't say I get the full gist of this HERE but I don't suppose they've much to lose. Seems many years late to attempt to integrate with their adopted home town but will be interesting to see how they progress.
Jaggernaut
Crappy club with a crappy 3-sided stadium. Â Erm......

Big Col
Absolutely, just like I chant "You're not Thistle, you're not thistle, we are, we are" whenever I drive past ICT's ground.
Watson Towers
Clyde FC was established in 1877 in Rutherglen on the south side of Glasgow as a members club, Â snigger
Charlie Endell
Rutherglen is not "on the south side of Glasgow"; it's in, er, Rutherglen.
Steven H
Absolutely, just like I chant "You're not Thistle, you're not thistle, we are, we are" whenever I drive past ICT's ground. a f kincaid
Rutherglen is not "on the south side of Glasgow"; it's in, er, Rutherglen. Â If I remember correctly, Shawfield was half in Glasgow and half in Lanarkshire. The boundary cut across the pitch at some point. Can't remember the outcome but this was the subject of some debate in the 50s/60s if they qualified for the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. It was argued at the time that their ground wasn't wholely in Glasgow. Being a "city" and having a fair was the original entry requirement. Winter of '63
If I remember correctly, Shawfield was half in Glasgow and half in Lanarkshire. It used to be a local joke about a player shooting from Rutherglen and scoring in Glasgow  In '67 Clyde finished third in the top league. The ruling at the time was that only one team from a city could enter the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup - Rangers finished second and although Clyde tried to argue they were from Rutherglen, they never made it into Europe...or at least not yet

McKennan
Clyde FC is set change the face of Scottish football ... Â I lost interest about here. Have the Clyde-minded businessmen shown up yet?
hamiltonjag
Hey..... why don't we sell Firhill and beg Clyde if we could ground share with them? Â Feckin ACE! Â That way PropCo get their mitts on Firhill, a wee bit of our debt is paid and many Jags "fans" get a three sided soul-less lego stadium that doesn't belong to us. Â There ye are troops! I've cracked it!
