Norgethistle
Why should any business listen to what its customers want when what they want is a model which loses them money? Â If the customers don't like what is there, they won't come, even less money, no business!!! Â The 10team top league was dumped previously cause it never worked too tight youths couldnt be brought through and our teams struggled in europe as did the national team, and the fans were bored with playing the same teams over and over again, they are dropping the 12 team top league cause it doesnt work. Our division doesnt work because we are playing the same teams up to 7 times a season (8 if there is a replay) Â Magic idea we'll reintroduce a system that never worked years ago when crowds were higher for the top division, and give our new league the same monotomy with 2 extra teams to share it with. Â Alot of fans struggle to make 1 game a week or 2 a month cause of finance, we are now going to increase the financial strain on them with more games probably closer togetherk, and you can bet the prices will come up, and the kids go free will be dropped when the SPL start to set the minimum pricing for the all shiney new structure. Jaggernaut
I've yet to see anybody directly question Doncaster about football fans' increasing boredom with playing the same teams at least 4 times every season, and their increasing likelihood of simply not turning up. beep0608
Where is this feasibility study?? why isn't it published? Why did Dundee Utd Hearts and a few others say no the 1st time if it was so great. Â Players will ask for bigger wages as they did when the premier league became the SPL with the TV money, the players agents will know that there is more money coming from sponsership and will want there cut, for being "championship" players now. Â Doomcaster mentioned a 1 million loss per club, and his explanation made no sense to me aside from it being a convenient justification / lie to justify the 10/10. Don't trust a word that fat tw*t says.

McKennan
Has anyone read the income figures for the SPL comparing money from TV against money from the serfs?
jags365
Couldn't find any threads more recent than this so.... Â Supporters Direct have started a campaign to show dissaproval for the proposed changes to the league setup. Â You can add your name to the list (which is to be presented to Neil Doncaster at the SD conference at the start of June) HERE.

stillresigned
At the end of the day the only group who's views will have no influence will be surprise, surprise the punters. No doubt we'll have the likes of Doncaster then bemoaning the lack of attendance. I ask you if, Scottish football was being deliberately run into the ground could anyone make a better job than the present clique.
