Big Dave
Bunch of useless lazy idiots! 1 inch of snow and that's that. Oh well working Tuesday so won't be there and certainly won't bother going there the rest of the season.

Tom Hosie
nothing up on the falkirk site????? Â It is now. Seems to have taken them the best part of 30 minutes to do so but this early no harm done.
Ceske
It is now. Seems to have taken them the best part of 30 minutes to do so but this early no harm done. Â With 5 1/2 hours till KO there was no real rush, they let Thistle know asap so that's what mattered for travelling fans. Â Pics are also up on FFC site

Pie Of The Month
Ah well, don't think I'll be able to make Tuesday. Might go to St Mirren v Peterhead today instead to cross a ground off my list.
Tom Hosie
did some one give them a call???? Tom? Â Doubt it. As Ceske says no real rush this early, though I would have got the news on as quickly as possible and followed it up with pictures later. Not that there is anything wrong in how Falkirk passed the news on via their website. Edited January 8, 2011 by Tom Hosie
The Earl of Hathaway
Covers on and USH on. Fat lot of good that did. First time we've had a Scottish Cup tie postponed in ages. Really really pissed off about this.
uberteeb
It really doesn;t look that bad, life up the covers and that snow goes and only one footstep got rid of the snow in the car park. Total amatuers.
carefulpuntgeorge
Ridiculous. The snow was well forecast, Falkirk had plenty of warning. Â Both teams will lose money today. Could see over a thousand Jags fans there today. Lucky to get half of that on Tuesday. Â They really should have tried their hardest to get this game on. Calling it off before the inspection just shows that they didn't bother their arse.
lady-isobel-barnett
Just read this. Radio Scotland 10 am news didn't know. Lot of folk out and about would be relying on the radio. Good sensible idea to bring decision forward.
kni
It's a realistic decision and some of the comments above are hypocritical. The issue is not the pitch but clearing the stands and surrounding areas of snow. We have had games postponed for similar reasons when the USH made Firhill playable. Â The game starts in 4 and a half hours, get someone out there with a shovel, it won't be icey, it's fresh snow.

GOVAN JAG
WHAT A FECKING JOKE FALKIRK ARE! RAGING!!!!
PaleGreySky
On a tangent, I was just on the falkikr website, and they are advertising hospitality for tuesday.  A pie a beans supper with a pay bar and the price of the match not included - £25. Unbelievable.
JeanieD
On the bright side - we are in the draw for the next round!!
Mr Bunny
I don't suppose our under-soil heating was on so we could have a bounce game and keep a bit of extra match fitness over Falkirk?

Vom Itorium
Great shame this as the 'romance' of the cup won't now be possible for many including myself. The attendance for this if it goes ahead on Tuesday will be a poor one I'd imagine.
