BlantyreJag
It will be a striker and a midfield player. Hopefully a Goalscorer who can get on the end of things in the box. Need to score more goals we look not bad at times until we hit the final third!!
Steven H
Tony Watt and one of the Czech twins from Cel'ic? Ex Airdire Utd youngster? Wouldn't mind that actually. Another midfielder wouldn't be required imo, only right back cover is needed.
Lindau
You mean a right back? No, a left back........it was a bit tongue in cheek! Never saw the guy play, but I know a few on here were surprised that we didnt persue Declan Gallagher the ex Celtic central defender so interesting to see that he has now signed a 6 month deal with Clyde!! If he was as promising as some on here said surely we can offer better wages than Clyde!!! Edited August 14, 2011 by Lindau

cjptfc
I'm quite impressed with the Manager's comments there to be honest. He didn't try and hide, he admitted we hadn't been good enough in the 2 league games and shaky at the back etc, but he also isn't pressing the panic button and is taking some positives. That's fair enough at this stage I think. When the dust settles on a sunday its a bit easier to see the big picture. Yes, we've lost our opening 2 league games, but we haven't lost them 4-0 or 5-0, its been close and there are 34 games to go. Stick with it, its early yet. cjptfc
Excuses are starting to sound like Gerry Collins. I was always getting annoyed by McCall's excuses, but I honestly don't see, in McNamara's short interview, anything that I would describe as an excuse. MWM
Was anyone actually impressed by any of the youngsters Celtic played? For a lot of them it was their big chance to impress in front of a crowd and most of them done **** all.
