Jaggernaut
Morton are currently top of the league..... with a negative goal difference!! Last night's result gives us the best goal difference in the division. Makes last week's outcome even more frustrating!!

Last night's result gives us the best goal difference in the division. Makes last week's outcome even more frustrating!! Only six points between top and bottom after eight games. Definitely pretty unusual. We continue the "five" theme this weekend by dropping back to fifth

We continue the "five" theme this weekend by dropping back to fifth This could well be the tightest league in years if this continues. Any team that shows some serious form could however walk it with all other teams takin points off each other.

P-R
I recall Thistle being top of the league under "The Bunnet" with a negative GD. Those games against St Johnstone and Gretna didn't help..
sigesige00
PTFC are only 3 points behind from the top. Believe that we can win promotion!

lady-isobel-barnett
Might be wrong and anyway I'm splitting hairs but I thought when we went top our goal difference went from negative to zero? Anyway if it was some other team than the Jags with the healthiest goal difference in a tight league I'd be tipping them as winners. Somehow having seen all our league games so far I'm far more realistic about our chances.
cjptfc
We can beat anyone in the league. We go into every single game from now till the end of the season with an excellent chance of winning the 3 points. (Whether we do or not is a different story). We have not looked as threatening since 08/09. Maybe we are more so now because St.Johnstone were better than us that season and we kinda knew that. This season however, is different. I believe we are better than any team in the league as long as we show up. Its there for us if we can find consistency.
Woodstock Jag
Remember, we beat St Johnstone 4-0 early on in the season they got promoted. In this league anything goes.
Phoenix
Any team that can show some consistancy and get a run of wins can pull away from the rest. Why not us?

alx
It's only October. So who knows? Lets hope these cracking home games continue for the feelgood factor. It was really funny seeing people howdying each other in the street over the weekend with five fingers.
MerryHell
I honestly think it'll be down to Falkirk (which is a surprise), Hamilton or Thistle (possibly an even bigger surprise!)to go up. It'll be whoever copes best with the changing conditions that the games are going to be played in over the next few months. We are a lot fitter this season and there's no reason it can't be us. Winning away to Raith in a fortnight will set up Falkirk nicely the week after.
Jaggernaut
I suppose Dundee fans are moaning and claiming that all the other clubs are plotting to destroy their club, as nobody is simply sitting back and letting them walk the league. Auld Jag
The only problem is anyone in the league can beat us I have already said in another thread we need to sort our away form out.1pt away from home since Jackie took over. Blackpool Jags
Can the Dees survive if they are relegated? No, that would be them Dun.
Jaggernaut
Can the Dees survive if they are relegated? Yes, just as well as we were able to. They are basically debt-free, so would simply need to drastically reduce their outlays.
sigesige00
I think that Dundee should have been relegated when we were relegated from the SPL. All clubs with financial mismanagement should be relegated to the SFL Div3.
Blackpool Jags
I think that Dundee should have been relegated when we were relegated from the SPL. All clubs with financial mismanagement should be relegated to the SFL Div3. That would probably result in divisions (incl. SPL) of 3, 3, 5 and 31 teams. The sons of Attila, for example, would be dead against it.
