lady-isobel-barnett
Maybees aye, maybees naw .... but we're unlikely to be arranging a fixture with a team who may not exist in a month's time  Something tells me that's just the very thing Thistle would do.   If thats correct , 3 hours on the train direct from Central to there  The words Warrington & train bring back horrendous memories of being stuck there for hours en route to Wembly ('79). What started out as the usual enjoyable bevy trip turned into a nightmare. For those unaware of happened a fan from New Cumnock (?) was murdered by a fan(s) from Govan. Everyone was detained on the train (it wasn't even a special). Don't think I need describe what the sanitary conditions were like. Anyway memories aside sounds like a decent fixture. Canny see Jags fans murdering each other on the way there.
jagfox
Who would we be playing? In Warrington football is rugby league I'd rather play some league teams so that we might get off to better start next season
twinny
Warrington sounds alright - easy enough for me to get to from Glasgow or Stoke. I'd prefer it to be away to Stoke or Hereford though.

Blackpool Jags
I've actually heard its Harchester. Â Melchester methinks.
Milo
Melchester methinks. Â I vote for Felchester Rovers; up against their captain, Ricky Lenin who is flanked by his team-mates Stevie Stalin and Micky Molotov! Commentry by Frank Lee brian, of course. sigesige00
I want Yeovil Town, Shrewsbury Town, Oxford United, MK Dons.
Dick Dastardly
Like the sound of Warrington. I can walk there from the outlaws
uberteeb
Looking at the Hartlepool fans in London thread it would be quality to have a game against someone in the capital. When was the last time we played down there? Â I was with 4 other Jags at the Emirates a couple of seasons back and after we got utterly trolleyed post match we got the tube to Camden and confused the hell out of people on the tube by going a bit nuts and belting out Jags songs. Elginjag
Inverness, along to new highland league champs Forres, then to finish, hopefully. Newly promoted to division 2 Elgin City.
lennythistle
Warrington sounds good to me. I could visit my daughter in Liverpool at same time.
Guy Incognito
If thats correct , 3 hours on the train direct from Central to there  That would be good, except the ground is about two miles from Bank Quay station.
lady-isobel-barnett
I see we're going back to Catterick again. Would imagine geography will play a part, which kinda suggests Warrington might be out.
lennythistle
Thats a very good interview with Jackie on the official site. Lot of honesty. Pre season should hopefully be good for us in terms of having squad sorted early and good team bonding.

paralytic thistle
If we sign the buy from Annan maybe a wee trip to their preseason tournament ? I know we were meant to go a couple of seasons back till we drew them in the cup.  Weekend on the sauce in Annan could be a good laugh  Now we have signed Shug, how about a game against St Mirren? plus, I go along with Junior on this one, a game against Annan (away) would be great, even if it were only for the best fish supper this side of the Mississippi Delta
lady-isobel-barnett
I believe Annan are installing an artificial surface. Don't know how long that takes or if needs time to bed in.
johnnylambieslovechild
Would quite like away games at Anna, Qos, Ayr,Killie or St Mirren
the saint
In addition to hopefully a decent away day in England, the priority should be to get Celtic back to Firhill. Not sure what it costs to bring what was effectively a reserve team but there must have been decent money in it for us.
jagfox
Wouldn't mind playing the green arse cheek development squad again. Good atmosphere, biggest crowd of the season and Tommy Stewart's finest moment
