policemans whistle
To-days Sunday Post says John Mcglynn heading to Firhill to run the rule over Chris, before making a bid.
Lindau
Yesterday was my first game of the season but has he started any of the pre-season games? Seems to have gone down the striking pecking order, still would be sad to see him go

Gary Peebles Tackle
Leave him on the bench Failing that , £150k please Mr Jambo Yep. Bench him. We've got a decent squad, let's not break it up now. Anyway, I'd imagine he'd want to actually be paid his wages as opposed to just promised them... Lindau
Leave him on the bench Failing that , £150k please Mr Jambo The way the Jambo's have slashed their costs I wouldnt expect them to offer more than £25,000, happily with Dools under contract, the ball is in our court. Right, time to hit the road, pick up a trophy, with Dools scoring the winner (you heard it here first!!) Pie Of The Month
After years of reading BBC match reports you'd think everyone would know his name is Kris Doohlan.

lady-isobel-barnett
Doolan had a slight injury about a week ago. That's why he didn't feature at the training day

chunky jag
McGlynn shouldn't need to see him today, he must have seen Doolan play nearly 10 times last few seasons?
Julie Ann
If we were offered £25k watch mcglynn return to tynecastle minus a hand and with a new player
Alan Murray
We would be looking for 70k plus, don't think hearts have that sort of money. I expect him to sign a pre contract in January though. Edited July 23, 2012 by Alan Murray

This, he might only have a year left on his contract but if we think we can challenge we need to keep him, therefore he is worth at least this much to us. Without him we'll finish sixth at best. Mr Bunny
This, he might only have a year left on his contract but if we think we can challenge we need to keep him, therefore he is worth at least this much to us. Without him we'll finish sixth at best. That's an exaggeration, we look stronger than we have for a while and would still challenge in a year like this. But I agree we should keep him. Getting goals is the key to success and you can never guarantee where they will come from, so keeping hold of a guy who has scored regularly for us makes sense. None of our other strikers are proven. Yes we have high hopes for McGuigan and Lawless (two of whom aren't really strikers), but between them and some others like Elliot, none of them have proven anything at this level yet. So Doolan is key, and with so many teams in the division appearing to be at the same level, I can't see us doing well without him. Saying that, I haven't seen the team yet.
