twinny
Worst draw we could have got. On the plus side, Cowdenbeath will be saying the same thing (except that they're at home). Oh well, if it was in Glasgow or Dumfries I might have tried to go. Bit too much of a trek for me I'm afraid.
yoda-jag
cowdungbeath. away. worst of the lot. boo. we could have had a home tie, or an away day to queens or the smokies kings. but no, we get the shitty end of the stick. red pudding anyone? Armand2
Worst draw we could have got. In terms of a day out, yes. But, football-wise, I think it's the best of the away games we could have got. I wouldn't have fancied playing Queens at Palmerston on their current form and the combination of the unpredictable weather and some experienced players could have made Arbroath a recipe for disaster. Cowdenbeath isn't an easy game by any means, though. I would have been very confident of beating all three at Firhill.
H Wragg
I would have been very confident of beating all three at Firhill. I'm confident of beating Cowdenbeath away. Moreso if we do them on Saturday

simoncordiner
I think it's good draw in so much that we wanted to avoid QoS as they'd be good final opponents as they're the only remaining team with a decent following. Fistle1876
Id say 50% chance of it being on Alba!
twinny
Id say 50% chance of it being on Alba! It's the tie of the round, with the other game being an all second division tie. So we should be more likely to have the TV game.
Lin1876
As fun as Queens would have been, us against them in the final was always going to be a good match, and there's a good chance of that. Between Arbroath and Cowdenbeath, Arbroath away is always a potential banana skin because of the weather (aka, it's one of the few places a match as season will probably be called off due to wind), though I would have felt confident facing them at home. As for Cowdenbeath, it's boring because we already play them four times this season and Central Park is a tip, but it's very winnable. Celtic Champions League news. Rangers exit by QOS last night. Scottish Womans Football mentioned. Nothing about the semi final line up of Ramsdens Cup and when the ties to be played. I suppose no interest now the Gers are oot.

kni
£15K That's reasonable - equivalent of about 1,000 fans (per team) through the turnstiles.

jagfox
Red pudding and q visit to the New Goth pub. Could be a good day out. I'd rather win the league game but feel we can win both, yada yada
sigesige00
The final in April is really crazy. The final should be played before the Scottish Cup. And I think that a new 40,000 seated stadium should be build in Edinburgh -- for Hearts and Hibs, and as a second national stadium. Scottish Cup semi-finals and League cup finals can be played there.
