The Jukebox Rebel
Does anybody remember a Shed song from the 70s that went along to the tune of "He's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the whole world in his hands". I seem to recall that it went on and on for ages - longer than a peaktime rednyellarmy. Yes, that long. I loved it, and it taught me the team. Eleven verses all exactly the same, bar the player & number change. Verse 3 was a bit dodgy mind: We've got Danny Kellachan, Number 3 We've got Danny Kellachan, Number 3 We've got Danny Kellachan, Number 3 We've got the best team in the land Thistle Rocks XI - here's a No.9 for somebody's team... The Jukebox Rebel
Jukka Santana. Chic to reform with Charnley on lead vocals! I stared at that blankly for several seconds and then the penny dropped and I burst out laughing at the thought of playboy Chic getting his groove on with massive flares and a big fluffy open shirt and medallion.
