sb1876
I'm survived he lasted this long. Fellaini was a massive waste of money and a panic buy. They bought Mata with nowhere to play him. With the fact that Martinez has done more in his first season than Moyes did in 11 indicates that Moyes has never been a great manager but more of a mediocre one. Has someone been posting in the We are Man Utd forum under the "Moyes must go" title! Your names not 'No Cups' on there is it? Sorry couldn't resist! 1 John Lambie
Correct decision, there was no sign of progress being made.
Norgethistle
Less than 1 season to re-build a team, now if the same had happened to Fergie?? Total short term view and plan, now they have a reputation (Like city) that the league must be won every year or its failure, and any prospective managers will take that into account when they negotiate a contract so they pay out will be in millions. He should have been given till xmas at least to allow a team to bed in and start to be his instead of Fergies who was still lurking in the wings for the 1st 6 months. Rid Skwerr
Jurgen Klopp has turned down the Man U job, but I hear his brother Clippity is interested. (Sorry)
peagreenboy
And now they're apparently going to spend £30 million and a hundred grand a week on an 18 year-old; except it was Moyes who laid the groundwork for the deal.
ThickAsThieves
Total short term view and plan, now they have a reputation (Like city) that the league must be won every year or its failure, He's not been sacked because they're not winning the league. He's been sacked because they're going to finish 7th, guaranteed with their worst Premier League points total. It's not been good enough, sadly. If he were 3rd, 4th, maybe even 5th, he would've got time. You can't just continue to give time when it's this bad though.
gerrybritton9
He's been sacked because he looked like he was not enjoying it. Brendan Rodgers has dr Steve peters for that. Box the chimp (Google that!)
