Considering we lost Holt, Docherty, Tiffoney and Turner, I think we're doing pretty well to be closing in on last season's points total.

Doolan has certainly fixed that defence. Only 2 goals conceded in 6 games (only one from open play), and he’s certainly signed a player in McBeth. Great to see OReilly back today to give us more defensive options too. Milne deserved his MoTM but great to see us throw bodies on the line to keep a clean sheet. Add to that we destroyed them up front and nice to see Diack get a goal too. All round a great day with the playoffs now secured. Airdrie won’t be looking forward to seeing us again

Airdrieonians have done bloody well this season. I'll get the platitudes out the way early haha. Big game in terms of league placing and by default the order of the games in the playoffs. We are back on a reasonable level of form, Airdrie have average away form so hillopefully we can give the ML6 Schutzstaffel a going over tomorrow. Not heard team news yet but would be good to have Banzo, O'Reilly and Robbo back in the mix Not sure if playing at home first or second in the playoffs will make much difference so I will just go for a morale building victory. Absolutely agree that it would be harsh, but a fit and firing Robinson is one of our best players who could be vital in such an important game. I suppose that Zander would have to make way, but he should get some significant game time later, as both Robinson and McInroy tend to fade after an hour.

History says that statistics become meaningless when it comes to Thistle. The more unlikely a thing is the more likely Thistle will do it.
