  1. So sorry for Archie and Shaggy tonight. Best wishes to both guys for the future and a big thanks for the Premier league years. It did appear that they had run out of ideas and that a change had become necessary. We can only hope that the next management team has as much feeling for the club as the outgoing pair. Dools to step up anyone?
  2. Ach! Bugger! Congratulations to jagfox......and a big thank you to Auld Jag for running the competition. Gave us more fun than the team did!
  3. Sorry to hear about that. Good luck to the lad for a complete recovery.
  4. Thanks, AJ, this week's hopeful prediction is Thistle 2 - 1 County
  5. Ffs - get a grip! There's no pleasing some people.
  6. Is the site not called "Dryfield"? QED
  7. I'm normally at the optimistic end of the scale, and am away at the moment so didn't see the game ....bus Jeez oh, I never thought we'd lose that one. Things are not looking good.
  8. You run these competitions, you sell 50/50s...... Any chance you could pull on a black kit and referee as well? :-) No objections from me - that was a great Doolan goal and deserves to be celebrated as such.
  9. Sad news to hear of the passing of another Thistle veteran. After so many years of following the Jags, this gentleman has earned his rest. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  10. Aye, I suppose I should...... But when you read the purposes and extent of what the advertisers want to use your information for it is a bit concerning. Still, adblocker does the business anyway. :-)
  11. Every time I sign on, for the past month or so, I get a screen with this text - "We value your privacy Hi there, opting in to cookies from us and our partners enables us to provide you with the quality content and information we currently do, which is dependent on the revenue we generate from advertising. We and our partners use your personal data in order to personalise your experience and provide you with relevant content and brand messages and measure activity on the site. Click below to consent to the use of your data. You can revisit your choices at any time. " There follows the choice to "accept all" or to go through all the options, to accept or reject individually, advertising cookies from an amazing range of web sites who wish to advertise at me. The minimum is 9 clicks to reject each of the advertisers options before I can get to this site. Since I automatically erase all cookies each time I switch off the PC I have to go through this rigmarole again the next time I want to access the site. It's getting really tedious to have to do this each time!
  12. The "foreign" teams were selected separately, one home and one away for each country, in order to keep them apart at this stage. I didn't see it after our tie was drawn so I can't comment on why the U21 teams were drawn together. Incidentally, the draw was MC'd by the Kilmarnock fan that used to be the announcer at Firhill.
  13. To be fair LIB, we may all be grateful for that! :-)
  14. As usual, interesting and amusing (if slightly worrying) facts.Keep up the good work TJR
  15. A bit harsh! Not everybody is rolling in it and, with finances stretched, eventually something has to give. Hope your wee one is good and healthy, monehjags. That's all that really matters.
  16. I'll chip in £2 per goal backdated to the first competitive game. 'Mon Dools - get your shooting boots on.
