Several parents appear to be picking apart the club's statement. I'm stunned.

Players and parents turned up to training during the week to find the teams have been cut with immediate effect. This is the club who told the fans they didn't need their money. All done on the hush as usual again, with nothing from the club as of yet. More transparency from the KGB than Firhill these days.

More things change the more they stay the same. Losing late goals, losing goals from set pieces, powderpuff mindset where we don't have the guts to grind out results against weaker teams, players mysteriously disappearing out of the team unexpectedly. That is one of the worst games I've been to where we haven't actually lost. Up there with Culter. Cove are a rubbish part time team who will be relegation fodder. We have the ability to win the league but we don't have the organisation or mentality to do it. It all goes back to McCalls loser mentality and Archibald's training. Not fit enough, not organised enough. If they weren't time-wasting they could have easily gotten a third.

The secrecy doesn't even look like it's over. Some guy Stewart Macgregor all over the club Facebook page who wasn't mentioned in the initial PTFC trust statement giving it the big I'm in the know and know what I'm talking about and then going quiet as soon as people question him about it. Imagine that? Weirs legacy is one of the worst thing to ever happen to PTFC. Money wasted on rubbish players, saddled us with Low and not a penny spent on facilities.

They won't be an amateur club plodding along in league 1 or 2 drawing 4-500 when they go back. They're going to be a very different club with elite infrastructure in terms of facilties and personnel. Our setup is tinpot by comparison. We will never be a sustainable Premier League club whilst it's Low and McCall in charge. We got lucky when we had a wee run with the likes of Rangers, Hearts etc being out on their arse. Once they all got back we got found out and are back at our level. Championship irrelevance.

Same old Ian McCall. Can't grind out results v teams like Hamilton, Qp etc. He's a nearly man and we'll never achieve anything with him. Sooner people realise that the better. Club is going nowhere on and off the park. Glimpse into the future for folk. Once QP are back at their home they'll overtake us permanently. Southside of Glasgow is a huge catchment, its not a village like Gretna. We've just stagnated horrendously as a club and have such low self esteem and expectations. Our place in the Scottish Football pecking order now is not as a premier league club. We've got a mickey mouse setup run by inept people.

is it unrealistic to think it isn't a fan...perhaps someone originally from the local area or a loose fan who has done well in business? i.e. willie haughey at qp, its his local team but we all know he isnt really a queens park fan seems to be absolutely no sign or trace of any alternative fan proposal.

does anyone know if the current "fan" directors are involved in an alternative bid as part of team low? these people have been very very quiet

better be a good 'un they have picked as the preferred bidder i suspect however jacqui will still have her fingers in the pie in some way, i smell a rat.

That's the second time I remember recently without the interruption of covid I remember issues with away fans in the JH with our latest failure of a peny pinching exercise. I remember Clyde fans mocking John Lambies death and then allowed to mingle with and verbally abuse home fans in the concourse, many being families up that end. Then yesterday we had four turnstiles and a pie stall and toilets for 150 odd Hamilton fans whilst hundreds of Thistle fans were stuck outside after kick off. Then you have Hamilton fans climbing the segregation during the game. Whole experience is crap about the stadium. Holes all over the JH roof, broken and bent seats covered in bird shit, cold water in the toilets. Two empty sides of the ground. Do the people running things even care or have any pride in our support or our home? Thistle fans turfed out the JH the second the Old Firm or even an team like Hearts appear now. Ayr United are building a new stand, Arbroath investing heavily in hospitality. Do we just wait until the day the place crumbles? Stadium hasn't had any TLC in years. Let's not even start on the training ground.

Because of the pressure mounted by fans spreading bullshit that they were going to rinse the club they caved in. I knew fan ownership would be bad but it's went even worse than I've thought somehow. Less than 500 sign ups and shrinking because it's an absolute shambles. (to the point it's not even clear it'll go through) Anything the fans touch with the running of Thistle turns to shit.

Pretty obvious I would have thought. The majority of fans wanted fan ownership, ironically only once the prospect of foreign owners appeared, such that the hunger was so evident beforehand and there was hatchet job stories in the media regarding it all suddenly beginning to appear, seem to remember one on the back of the Herald about the ground being sold, funnily enough. So we get what we deserve. No leadership, no transparency, skint, no direction, no interest in our facilities and infrastructure. We had a taste of this before and a sign how bad it would be with the Jags Trust, fans like Cowan on the board, the people working in and around the club but fans get caught up in the emotion and get taken in with ridiculous scare stories about asset strippers. For me it was easy to see coming that it would result in us remaining in the shitter, but the majority of fans wanted this and bought the bullshit people of like Low and that charlatan Paul Goodwin so really only have themselves to blame. By the way we don't have a scouting system either and as far as I know nothing related to analytics or sports science. There's nothing in the club directory on the website that suggests otherwise anyway. Praise the Lord we ran off Johnny Foreigner.

Huge problem at the club. Fear of outsiders, misplaced anxiety that someone would only want to buy Partick Thistle to flatten the place and put us out of business. The way I see we are heading to a slow death by a thousand cuts anyway. The club needs more outsiders with a fresh perspective and some ruthlessness. Not a place where a fan or an ex player have a job for life and accommodating passengers just because they're perceived as our own. That ship has sailed though and we're ******. Run like a glorified bowling club committee now.

Just as well Chien Lee didn't come in and asset strip us. We will be playing in Scotstoun at ten years at this rate. Any word on the bing and the Main Stand getting returned to us? Thought not. There's yer transparency. Just like the training ground and all the other bullshit before it. It might not even be money troubles sending us out, the place will do will to get a safety cert at this rate. Big problems with the JH roof now I read to add to the mess that is the bing and the Main Stand. Fans have the club they deserve. Rudderless. Jobs for the boys on and off the park. Give it a 2-3 years and we will be the 4th force in the city permanently. Haughey investing heavily in infrastructure whilst Weir gave cash to Archie to waste on duds and then left us with Britton and Low. We must also have the most embarrassing looking club shop of any professional club I've seen. Ayr United's is massive compared to ours. Everything about us just screams unprofessional and low standards.

We are shite and on a one way ticket to going out of business. Theres nothing positive at all about this club now and the fans have let a culture seep throughout the club of accepting failure and constantly sticking with people not up to it.

Bollocks. The fans put the previous shareholders under pressure with scare stories of shady investors taking out loans, people wanting to turn the ground into flats, media scaremongering about the fans being concerned of these people taking over the club, nonsense stories about moving to Scotstoun. I'm so glad the family club got their way! The way things are we are dying as it is . Beat again today eh?

If you join the dots together from google searches, Martin Christie our one time "Head of Recruitment" has quietly left and is now at ******* Forfar doing the same job according to his Linkedin page. Nothing on the club website or the directory regarding a replacement or "restructuring" or changes or nothing. I give it another year in this league before the begging buckets are out again. We are an utter joke.

Just imagine we went with the rich owners we could have binned this loser McCall tonight. We wanted the family club model though. You reap what you sow as they say.

If you extend it beyond basic league/Scottish Cup wins it looks even worse. Final appearances, semi finals. Even the Challenge Cup our record is terrible in, and we've played in that completion a lot. The club is low self esteem as ****. A lot of that is down to the fans putting up with shite. The big one for me was when Hamilton feckin Accies supporters were trying to run Martin Canning out the door every week and yet whilst we were doing even worse we were happy with Archie! The cosiness of Thistle is a noose around our neck.

Thank God we turned down the Lee and Conway money. Without fan ownership we would have died! Oh wait we are dying anyway. ******* shambles.

Spot on. Next set of people running the club should be outsiders if these clowns don't kill us first. Various individuals and fans groups over the years have totally run the club into the ground. Bowling Club FC. Jobs for all of the boys and girls. Same old woe is me interview on jagzone from the career victim McCall, hard luck, blaming the weather. Makes a change from talking about how well off the opposition are, which he can't do anymore. McCall has always been a nearly man, a myth of a manager who hasn't achieved all that much in the game, but the one thing he was good for before was bringing in players we can develop. Now its all shite on loan and bench warmers from teams like Ayr, has beens circling the drain of full-time football trying to delay the inevitablity of the real world. Him and all the other pals like Archie, Bannigan etc need fired out the door before they do anymore damage. The softball questions on jagzone are embarrassing. No subs, barely created anything worth a ****, and all he can do is crawl up McCall's arse.

McCall is the biggest blowhard in Scottish Football. Talks as good a game as anyone but delivers nothing. He's damaged goods and needs to go.
