Absolutly nothing wrong with relaxing on day(s) off with chums however maybe it’s my age and grumpiness but to be publicly partying and splashed over social media the day after being part of a team to suffer an embarrassing capitulation seems a bit off with the paying punter who is still hurting after Friday night. If Caldwell gets the sack which is ultimately what will happen one day at Jags he will be finished as a football manager so can we pin some hope on him walking citing off field difficulties, not supported in transfers etc in his hope this can make him employable with some other dafties in the future. A good few of our player look like they have no desire for the jersey. We have a real disconnection between management/board and fans. We sign guys like Harkins, Miller and Fox on decent length contracts who essentially are a waste of a wage (not forgetting Mitch Austin). And this is just on the footballing side before we get into all the off the pitch shenanigans. Grim times at present.

Best I have seen us in a while today. Started well and finished strongly too. Thought McGinty was terrific and Robson made a big difference when he came on. Corking free kick by Penrice too. Fox was a bit shoogly with crosses but otherwise pass marks to all. As for Spittal, I have no idea his problem with us but even last season I mind him scoring for us and looking moody and not celebrating with the fans so to see his reaction today especially when he was getting no grief perhaps sums up his character. Anyways Blair, Karma and all that.
